Also, does anyone know for sure whether or not it will take longer or less long to level up to 100 in this game than it did in Gears 2?

Personally, I rather hope it takes a similar amount of time. That distinguishes players from each other. If the level cap was really easy to reach, it wouldn't feel like an accomplishment when it was reached.

Judging by how much xp I get per match alone, I can say that it will be faster to get to 100 in Gears 3. I didn't come close to the amount of xp per game in Gears 2 that I do now. The highest I've gotten was around 14/15k for an absurd game, compared to the 8/9k in Gears 2.

I just think it's stupid them making it fairly easy to rank up in this game. With Beast and Horde both contributing fairly heavily, as well as Multiplayer, it won't take THAT long for me to make it, I don't think.

Hell, some people are already there, showing that they made it too easy, imo.

I just wish they'd make it take more XP so that when I actually get there, it'll mean something.

Level four here, like a boss. Ive only played the game for like an hour, though.

Level 35. ive been playing TDM and Wingman alot.

I am level 23 I think. Haven't played in forever.

It's in no way easier to get your wings in this game then it was the last. You just don't have to endure a long tiring/boring grind as you did in Gears 2. Horde and Beast don't get you too much XP either, versus gives you by far the most.

Have you played horde insane? Every 10 waves gives you a massive amount of exp.

The leveling up in this game is easier because of the medals, getting your wings is only half the challenge, the real challenge is getting onyx medals.
