Ideas for 6th Generation Pokemon Games - Page 9

I can't help but get defensive. That's just how I am. I'd better mention this, but the idea for sniffing out Pokemon came from the PokeRadar used in the 4th gen. Addmittedly, I never used it, but the whole thing did seem like an ok idea at the time.

Also, does anyone think that the games were better with Contests? Or do people prefer the Musicals? If so for either, would the games be better with that feature used again?

Audino was a good addition that really sped up some of the training, so I'd like to see it again, too.

What new feature could work in the place of the contests and musicals? And I agree that the musicals would need a lot of improvement to be kept in.

That actually could work. Something like the Bug-Catching Contest would be good. Having it playable over Wi-Fi could also work. That part about the Pokeathon could work, too.

Hmm...Pokelympics? Maybe events Pokemon could be good at based on stats? 100-meter dash for fast Pokemon? Maybe?

That is a somewhat good idea, but they haven't really done any major changes to battle layout like that at any time. I suppose it would work, but most people I know are satisfied with the current layout. I'm not saying it wouldn't work, but to some players it might be confusing and think it was too drastic a change. But, hey, that's just me.

I'd like to see a Wi-Fi Bug-Catching Contest as well, that would be very interesting to say the least. The Pokelympics sounds good too, reminds me of that game (want to say it's Coliseum or Stadium) where you had to race Donphan, that legend was a menace on the track.

Regarding new ideas, possibly bringing back travelling to another region? Maybe Hoenn or Sinnoh got an equally brutal freezing like Unova, so the Gyms there aren't known until you make it there.

Also, the next generation NEEDS MOAR LANCE!! And Gary Oak too .
