I think my first problem with it is that it has no arms. Bipeds are bipeds so that way they can have arms that are free to carry stuff, otherwise they may as well just be Quadrupedal. So when I see a 2-legged sprite with no arms, it just seems awkward to me.

Also, one the top-most body stripe, there is some dither shading (shading that is a checker-board pattern) which most sprites usually don't have, unless it's a R/B, G/S, S/R/E sprite, or a devamp.

The head is really great, good work. I just don't think it fits the sprite very well. Would probably work better on a dog of some kind or wolf.
