Theme was to create a sprite celebrating a country. Sorry if judging is a bit quick and blunt, I procrastinated a bit and have a lot on my plate today.

[B+] That's quite a lion there. What stands out most is the kind lack of real shape around the face, which can get a little confusing. The ears, for instance. I'm not sure if they're just not there or don't have an outline around them. Usually a lion's ears are seen in front of all the fluff. You also have a problem with the light source. You nailed this theme right on the head really. It was very clever to try an alternative theme to what everyone else would think, and the story was a great one. Onto the sprite, it's a very good one. The only thing which didn't give you an A+ was there's a few problems with shading that I can spot. On the tail, I think your shading needs to rise higher than it already is. I also think that the breast of the turkey is a little plain, and maybe including some more of Braviary's features could of helped. Overall though, very clever sprite, brilliant colour scheme and good job!

The Dolphin Pokemon
Water/Rock

Fusion of Whirlipede and Terrakion. I saw a lot of water types among my choices, so I figured I'd go for a shark, which ended up being a dolphin. xD Ironically ended up not using any of the water types after all.
