You can use your own sprites. They just have to resemble an official character.

Thanks for everyone's patience. When I made the due date, I was expecting to be less busy after Christmas. Turns out I was wrong, but now that I'm back at college and everything's gone back to a steady schedule, I should be able to stick to being on time for judging. This week's theme was to make an aged sprite of one of the official characters, an excellent suggestion by Kimonio. Too bad he didn't enter for his own theme...

[C] Welcome to Neoseeker, and the White Spriting Competition! Overall, this is an okay sprite. The shading on the hair could use some more contrast. What you need to do is push yourself creatively to make something extraordinary. Something I always say when judging fake evolutions (and it applies here too) is to not use the Pokemon or person you're evolving or aging as the base of your sprite. Using a different base will make you think more creatively and overall improve the appearance of the sprite.

Also, there's a lack of changes made to this sprite. You're going to need a little more than a cane and a recolored suit to impress the judges. Don't be afraid to do something creative!

[A-] Aw, so cute! You did a good job showing Skyla in this. But no matter how much I look at it, I feel like there's an anatomy problem going on. Maybe the head's too big, or the arms are too long. Child anatomy is difficult enough without throwing the Pokemon style on top of it. Also, though it may just be me, but it appears she's wearing no pants.

You've fused it well and the scratched body suit looks fine. You have the basic skills, now you just need to push yourself to create something really creative and amazing.

[A-] Hm, I feel like I've seen this pose before. Anyway, FourthBeat, you're awesome, yada yada. Now onto the good stuff. Maybe it's just my monitor, but the shading on the hair isn't quite dark enough. Also, the upper part of her right arm strikes me as flat, and the outline's a bit too straight. I would however like to commend you for being creative about the clothes she's wearing. I know when I was much younger, I certainly didn't wear the same clothes I'm wearing now!

Not only does their anatomy really not make any sense, I always felt that if I ever lost to one, I'd be a total failure. But they're preschoolers, I'd also feel bad beating them too. Have you ever won against a five year old? They don't like losing. But I'm dancing around the point. I don't have much criticism, it's definitely got that anti_righteous flare to it that's very distinctive to your sprites. Maybe a bit more shading on the shirt, or a bit less in the pants. The difference in amount of shading between the shirt and the pants makes the other more noticeable.

Anyway, I can never remember who is who with these two, so for the sake of comments, let's say the one on the left is Tate and the other is Liza. Tate I am completely enamored with. I can find no problem with her whatsoever. Liza, while free of errors, I'm less impressed with, since she's mostly the B/W psychic trainer with a different arm. I was struggling with the idea of dropping you a grade, since as a whole there's one excellent sprite and one okay sprite, but I'm in a good mood today and gave you full credit.

New Theme: Three way fusion. Using only three Pokemon, make a fusion of your choice. The trick to winning this round is to learn how to balance the amount of each Pokemon in the sprite. Ideally, you want a 33/33/33 percent split.

Wow thanks so much! I really wasn't expecting that at all! I'm so pleased right now. Good C+C too, very useful ^-^

You guys will have to wait until the weekend to get some judging. School has left me weak and tired...
