If you give your axew 10 Proteins and 10 Carbos, its the same as giving it 100 EV points in those stats. You would only then only have to fight 76 patrats/lillipups (252-100=152 left, then divide that by 2 b/c of the macho brace) and 38 basculins(252-100=152, divide by 2 for the macho brace, and again by 2 b/c basculin gives 2 speed EV.) I wouldn't use ANY HP ups, because each vitamin is the same as 10 EV points. So if you want to focus on attack and speed, and put the last 6 EV points in HP, I would either give it 6 Health wings (without the macho brace) or fight 2 stunfisk (with the macho brace). After all the EV training, you are safe to level it up however you want. It won't change what's already done, unless you feed it particular types of berries.

Really? I thought that even though the EV's are applied immediately after battle, you still had to wait until level 100 for them to be fully realized. (And that you had to put them in the PC box if you're going to EV train level 100 pokemon)

You can still see the results of training immediately. Consider the algorithm in play; the whole value is applied at lv 100 and anything before that point is only a fraction of said value, though it's actually equal. The game compensates for the Pokemon's partial growth.

You'll never get 383 special attack with an adamant nature. Adamant lowers special attack.

383 special attack is only possible with a nature that boosts special attack (for example, a modest nature), max IVs, max EVs in special attack and being at Level 100.
