Honestly, I'm beginning to think it would be better to simply group all the forums of a particular game together. ex:Pearl, diamond, and platinum would be one forum. SS and hg would be one. Black, white and Gray? would be one, etc.

To be honest, I do agree with you Disasterpiece that, despite the differences, Black and White are similar enough to the point where a single forum would work fine. We just don't have that option currently. The problem is the way Neoseeker's database is structured. Each forum is attached to a game profile. While the setup allows for forums of games on different platforms to be merged, it doesn't allow for forums on the same platform to be merged.

In other words, Tf and I can do nothing about merging them anyway regardless of our opinion. To merge them would require changes in the way forums are attached to profiles and that's an admin level decision. Feel free to check out the suggestion proposed in the RFS forum about it.

It's probably cause most people like the White exclusives more.

That's as maybe, but the members of this forum, or indeed pokemon forums in general, are not representative of the demographic as a whole. I would even to so far as to say that we are statistically irrelevant.
Certainly, in the first few weeks after their release in Japan, Black was higher up the charts.
