Wait... Korea??

So while on my "quest" to maybe end up completing a national dex someday (625/612 right now) I stumbled on something weird.

I know the new pokedex allows you to change the entry' sprite by gender, shininess or even alternative forms.... but the text's language as well?

Here's the thing, I take my 4th gen Garchomp I had leveled back then (again for dex purpose), take it to the daycare, hatch the Gible and train it up for a gabite, all's well so far but when I turned on my dex cuz i felt like reading w/e it had to say about them, I notice a little blue square with "Kor" written in it in my Gabite's entry. I click on it and it pops another dex entry for Gabite in some foreign eastern language (so I kinda guess... "Kor" for Korea ??)

But ummm, why would my Gabite's entry have a korean version is beyond me. I mean the original Garchomp came from my cosin's pearl, leveled it in my Soul Silver and hatched it in Black.... its not like I got a Korean version of any of those games (fact is it even released in Korea or are they still just playing the original Starcraft)

Hmm, weird stuff I guess.

This is especially weird since last time I checked, Korean Pokemon games can't trade/communicate to foreign games at all.

well its pretty odd cuz the pokemon I transfered was a Garchomp (mine, not korean). I had him breed with a Ditto of mine (not Korean again), hatched the Gible (still not Korean) but then that same Gible evolving into Gabite unlocked its Korean text...... oh well, I thought it was odd, but its not like its disturbing or gamebreaking.
