	I would say so. You sacrifice a little power and bulk but gain a lot more speed and a better overall move pool. (And a better ability most likely) ------------------- Fire Emblem 3DS!

	I agree with OldManZangetsu although i personally loveeeeee Emboar Arcanine overall is better..... I mean True Emboar has more power but Arcanine has a way better move pool and is a whole lot faster then Emboar

Still, Trickroom Emboar isn't bad.

	Gaerolth You got me their. but Just too me im not one for a trickroom Emboar. Plus i always just love pokemon with a better move pool. But if you like Trickroom Emboar thats fine by me ;3

	I use Flame Charge for my main fire attack on my Emboar to remedy its lack of speed. Though Arcanine does have the better Speed stat and Ability. Move Pool wise they are bout the same. Will note that Emboar gets Super Power through breeding.

Where it gains 20 points in HP, it loses 15 points to each defence stat and without Trick Room setup it is more likely to get hit first than Arcanine is. Plus Arcanine gets Extremespeed to pick off weakened sweepers that might try to get one last hit in before going down and potentially heal off damage with Morning Sun. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.
