	Log in to remove this sponsored message Does anyone know how to decipher the messages on the walls? I heard it was Cuneiform but it is NOT Cuneiform, just some random gibberish. I've been stuck on the first floor for ages and I think I've cleaned it out apart from 1 or 2 items. I read on Serebii.net that you had to get to the middle and "interact" with the pillar. I've gotten there and tried to interact with it but the only thing that happens, is a pop up message with, here we go, MORE gibberish. If anyone's got a game guide or something then could a chart possibly be in there? Could you post it up here so people know what the bleep the pillars are saying? 	Probably figured it out already, since it's been 5 days, but if you didn't: You're supposed to interact with the first two pillars you come across while heading to the middle, then talk to the center pillar. As for what the writing means, I have no idea. >.>

	The writing is technically cuneiform. The term cuneiform merely describes the way in which the letters are formed, not any specific alphabet or language. You can tell that it is an alphabet Game Freak made up themselves, though; one of the letters is their logo. I am certain that it all means something and is technically decipherable; it is not Game Freak's way to just put in meaningless gibberish. It is just a question of finding a starting point; working out what a few letters mean then working back from their. 	I don't know what the writing means, but I do know how to get through to the next floors. see all you have to do is get to the center most purple pillar and interact with it, you just have to do it quickly, or with the least amount of steps. the easiest way to get there is from the left most entrance. just memorize the straightest path to the middle pillar and take it. its all about getting there within a certain number of steps from the entrance. This is guaranteed to work as I have successfully done it myself. hope this helps.

So how did anyone who did/does not work for Game Freak decipher this. I understand that cryptologist can do that kind of thing but they need a key or something like the rosetta stone for a basis/comparision, and if indeed this cuniform is hand crafted by Game Freak then what did they(cryptologist) use as their "rosetta stone"? -------------------
