The difference between Samurott's physical and special attack stat bases is minimal. Special is slightly higher but not by much so IVs and EVs will naturally screw around with this sometimes. I do think physical Samurott is the better of the two styles anyway. Shell Blade will be useful for most of the game and you get movepool choices like Revenge, Retaliate, X-Scissor/Megahorn and Aqua Jet. Regarding the first post I don't think the DW ability is relevant. The Snivy chosen as a starter will never have that ability. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.
