Are you confused on what starter to pick? - Page 5

Here's my opinion,

Serperior is more of a supporter. A good set of moves would be:

Substitute
Leech Seed
Reflect
Light Screen

Emboar has very high attack but terrible speed. If you want Emboar to do a lot of damage (and take some damage; not the best choice) it can learn some great moves like:

Flare Blitz
Low Sweep TM (Lowers speed)
Wild Charge TM (Good against Water-types only if your Emboar is faster)
Head Smash (Good against Flying- and other Fire-types.)

Remember Emboar is not that fast so I don't recommend Tepig.

Samurott is pretty good and a bit slow too but you don't see many fast Water-type starters anyway

It has some good moves. Ice Beam comes in handy (for a Special attacker). Megahorn (for a Physical Attacker).

I chose Oshawott, but I use Emboar in my Trick Room team so I like Emboar a lot.

Revolver Oshawott is the best, and my personal favorite Water-Type starter ever.

I love how he evolves into The Last Samurott, which is totally badass.

oshawott. he can take MANY hits. AND the 2nd gym was a snap!

i chose tepig because my name is aqua'ham' but now i wished i went snivy

personally i would choose oshawott or snivy. snivy ends up having more speed. oshawott ends up with mixed good stats and tepig has low speed but good power. since i have black and white i chose all 3 (i erased with trading pokemon 1st) and the best i had was oshawott and snivy

I picked Cyndaquil just because I always use the fire starter and I'm sick of Fire/fighting.

I don't use it to "Cheat" though, I use it to "Enhance" the game. Like one of my codes makes the text appear instantly instead of typing it out in a set speed (Slow/Med/Fast). Another makes it so I can rematch trainers, but I'm not gonna use it until I beat the game, so I can keep training new pokemon by going through the routes one by one all over again challenging the trainers.
