	It's not all that pointless. I think the reason they didn't put this feature is most likely because they have to make new sprites of the new Pokemon and they probably think it's not an important feature.

	I liked it an am sorry it's gone. ;-; Sure it might not have served a purpose but plenty of things are in games that don't really have a purpose either. Plus, it made perfect sense to be able to have a Pokemon behind you. Not everyone wants to keep them trapped in balls. Anyway isn't the game about Pokemon and humans as equal? They could have incorporated Pokemon walking behind you into that. -------------------

	I don't mind that the feature was taken out (although HG/SS went into development after B/W), but I'll still miss it. It may have served no purpose to the game, but in SoulSilver I felt a hell of a lot more "connected" to my 'mons. I cared about them again. I hadn't had that feeling since the first two Generations. 	For me the feature was entertaining to start with, but just got more and more out of hand as the game progressed and suddenly you had Wailord following you around 0_0
