I'd be careful on that one.
A bow should be fine, but if you go too far with the whole pandering to their culture thing, it can come off as patronising.

What!? I would SO go to this if I lived in London. It's a pretty awesome thing that Masuda and Sugimori are coming all that way to meet with some fans I bet the guys who work in that GAME store can't believe their luck!

If I didn't live too far I would consider travelling up, but the cost of the journey there and back would probably cost just a bit more than the game itself, so it's not ultimately worth it. But I'd love to have a Black signed by them I think it's really really cool, personally.

Considering most kids (at least under the age of, say, 14) won't know who either Junichi Masuda or Ken Sugimori are, much less be excited about the opportunity to meet them, coupled with the fact that this event is happening on a school day, i doubt they'll will be many children there at all.
In Britain, even at events like the Celebi one recently, where it was held at a weekend and where giving away something that kids would understand, the number of people attending who are 15/16+ outnumber the number of kids about 6:1. At this event they'll be even more outnumber, if any even show at all.

It was probably so amazing that we'll all just faint upon hearing about it. ;-;
But it would be cool if somebody here did go after.
