“Let’s go, Jarlorda!” I exclaimed, going around in a circular motion. I reached a pink door, with a twisted spoon on it. “Psychic.” I whispered to myself, knowing the door instantly from all the books I studied in Hoenn at the Pokemon School. I walked towards the door and pushed.

A creak was heard when it opened, and the most amazing sight was right in front of me. My jaw dropped when I saw the beautiful scene. It looked like it was from a movie. I was in a hallway with a regal, hot pink carpet. The tiles on the floor looked extremely expansive. The walls were a plain, pink colour, with a pure white roof with no marks. Famous portraits were hanged on the wall with pure gold frames, and flowers, full with vibrant colours and in clear glass vases. The most well carved tables I have ever seen held up the flowers. A castle theme, I presumed. I crawled through the hallway, taken in the scenery of the Psychic Elite 4. I reached the end of the hallway, and I saw a door, painted in a deep, rich purple. My hand reached the doorknob, ready to turn it.

“And what’s your name?” a voice echoed in the hallway. I jumped, not seeing anyone in the hallway, and not hearing any footsteps except mine. I turned to face the speaker. He looked a real gentleman. He had a black and blue tuxedo with a white long-sleeved shirt under his tuxedo. He was also wearing a bow tie He wore long, blue pants, and big, black shoes on his feet. His hair was gelled back, his hair black except a streak of blonde in the middle. He also wore glasses. He was looking at his stopwatch, looking impatient.

“Umm… Should I-“

“Hurry, tell me your name!” He yelled rudely. He tapped his right foot, showing he was in a hurry. His eyebrows were in an angry stance. I knew he wasn’t the happiest person…

“A-A-Alex…” I stuttered. I was afraid of who the man was. Was this a setup? Is this meant to happen? Is he a stranger? Is he the psychic Elite 4?

“Alex…” He said. He looked thoughtfully for a minute. “Hi Alex. My name is Darach. I’ll be your guide.” He smiled happily at me. I smiled awkwardly back at him. Did he just have a mood swing or something?

“Come over here, Alex!” He called, going back down the hallway.

“But the door is here!” I yelled back. I looked confused. Darach came towards me a few steps.

“A trapdoor, that is.” He laughed. Then I noticed that it was painted purple, not matching the other furniture in the room. It did seem out of place when I looked at it. “So are you coming?” He motioned his hand towards the way he was walking. I nodded, following him.

“In here…” He pointed to a portrait. It had a wooden frame, instead of a gold. I then started to notice that everything that is different, it has a secret behind it. He pressed something under the table, and the wall slid down. Darach pulled the table out, and we walked through. I was ready for this. I was ready to defeat the Elite 4!

“What do you do? A trainer?” Darach asked.

“No.” I told him. “Me and my Pokemon are in the Pokemon Musical.” He nodded.

“So why are you here?” he asked. He was curious on who I was. I grinned.

“A challenge from a distant friend in Sinnoh.” I told him. “He said the Battle Castle was the easiest.”

He sighed. “I understand” his smile turned into a frown. Did I… say something wrong?

“Here you go, Caitlin. Your oppenent is ready for your battle!” He called out.

“Alex!” called a sweet, lady voice. In the room, rose petals were everywhere. In the middle was a stage where a huge bed was. “I haven’t seen you in a while!” she laughed. Then I saw someone on the bed, sitting, picking the rose petals. I walked over to the bed to see a short lady. She was wearing a long, white dress with pink on the end. She wore a white hat, with long, blonde hair flowing down.

“Caitlin…?” I asked. It was… Caitlin, a childhood friend. “Wh-Wh-What are you doing here!?” I asked, laughing.

She giggled, and replied, “What are you doing here? To battle, right? Then I’m here to battle!” Caitlin always had enthusiasm. “Now, shall we battle?” she asked.

“Okay. I’m ready when you are!” I told her. Where did our great days go with us, Cheren and Belle?
