	Veto Competition While we wait for dark rayquaza to announce the two trainers, let's look at the first Veto Competition ever held in the Isshu Region, and boy, it's a real good one! Before we even get to the aim of the Veto, let's add in a surprise no one was expecting. Since this contest is so big, I decided to add a little guest to our Region for a little judging. Put your hands together for tkman117. tkman117 has been well known for his great writing and knowledge skills across Neoseeker. Mostly found typing away at PokeFiction Fourm's, he is well-known for being in several RP's, and is currently in a Joint-Fic with GuitarMan91. An absolute angel for a member of Neoseeker, and as a great friend. He mostly likes Pokemon, Writing, and Pheonix Wright games. Yes, quite unexpected. As I pointed out, tkman117 is quite good at writing. So our next theme for the Veto is a short story in Isshu. The contestants must write at least a paragraph (4 sentences/4 full stops) about a certain area in Isshu, whether it be getting a starter, battling a gym leader, or becoming champion. Whichever one you pick, I'm sure it will be a delight to read. So, to keep it fair, tkman117 and I will split the group in half - 8 for me, 8 for him. Please send your story to the person you are set to. Spoiler: Marking ------------------------------------- Fan-Media: Fan Fiction Title: Asphyxiation Author(s): Bitter Sweet Reviewer: Eclipse Review Date: 10^th of November 2010 Rating: 4 out of 5 marks. ------------------------------------- Asphyxiation Initial Thoughts. So whilst looking through the forum thinking “What should I review..?” I came across this little diamond. I remember reading it a while back and was completely taken back with amazement. So I decided “Why not?” Originality - 4 out of 5 marks. Points for originality was mainly given for the author’s unique opening and plot line. The comparison of Pokémon Battling to a drug was incredibly interesting, as you can compare the addiction to battling more to the sufferance of a gambling addiction, but the way Bitter Sweet did it was really controversial, which kept comments going and interested readers of her intentions. Plot – 3 out of 5 marks. I feel the plot never really reached it’s potential as it seems to die before anything really blossomed, however it is interesting in how it jumps from Mitsumi’s (Dawn) life as a girl to when she is travelling; that’s really the only thing I can say about the plot. Grammar and Spelling – 5 out of 5 marks. Absolutely perfect. Quality of Writing - 5 out of 5 marks. The quality of writing is fantastic. It’s so nice to read a well-wrote fan-fiction and feel yourself immersed it the depths of it all. Props to you, Bitter Sweet. Final Rating = 4 out of 5 marks. So be well prepared. 	I'm sure you'll do fine. It's near the ending of NaNoWriMo, so I thought it might be good to read some stories than to write. Also, I made some graphic artwork for the events. I thought it would bring more excitement and colour. So, how do they look? Spoiler: Banners I thought it would look cool with the pokemon font, and bring some new faces of pokemon in. ^^ -------------------
