Difficult to say... I'd say my favorite all around would be Cynthia. Doesn't use a single type, cool battle music, and she wears a black longcoat. That's cool.

Blue wins points for also not using only one type. I've never felt any smugness after beating him, though. I kind of felt bad for him. Everywhere he goes, he keeps getting beat by some kid who's entire strategy is "Love and kindness." And he's only champion for two minutes.

Red could at least talk to me.

Lance seemed like a let down. We already beat him in R/B/Y, so when G/S came along, it just felt like, been there, beat that.

Steven was the easiest champion for me, but that may have been because half my team was fire, fighting, and ground types. After a few rematches, I could practically sweep his entire team with my Blaziken. And yet, I really liked him because he just seemed really cool for some reason. Maybe it was the suit.

Wallace just sucked. How dare he replace Steven.

And can't say anything about the new guy since I know nothing about him. Been trying not to spoil anything remotely plot related.
