Hopes and Suggestion for Gym Leaders Gen V

I had a nice idea and just had to post it here, you know how most of us can sweep a gym with one type usually because of the gym's type? well, instead of making type specific gyms, or E4 leaders too, why not different groups? Pokemon that cause paralysis, poison, and sleep as an example? I want to have more of a challenge and not be able to sweep a gym with one type advantage.

Give some suggestions here!

I wasn't saying only this I was thinking more than status effects I just can't think of more...
I guess if it doesn't sound like a good idea having different type leaders in different orders would be nice like you said

I'd like to move away from type based gyms/elite four. I mean, they pound it into your head in the game that specialising in a single type is a bad idea and then task you with defeating elite trainers... that specialise in a single type each. It's a bit contradictory.

Said abilities aren't as commonplace as type advantages though.

certain level gyms, certain move power gyms? idk what else can they really do for gyms?
