Glitch

alright, get your AW2 out. Go to VS. map and to Pre-Deployed. Then, go all the way down to the map Crossroad. Choose your CO, it doesn't really matter. Move, and end your turn. Then, the enemy doesn't do anything... What's wrong with this????

re: glitch!!!!

The enemies DO move. The AI spends a long time thinking with all of those Units available to it. The less Units it has, the more quickly it can think.

re: glitch!!!!

They still move, at least.

If you think about it, that makes the Map much more difficult. You can't just stay back and defend your territory while allowing your enemies to destroy each other until you can come in and comfortably clear up whatever is left after the battle. You have to go out and fight against them yourself, and doing that when you have your supply of Units against you multiplied by three can be extremely difficult.

re: glitch!!!!

yes it is very hard... they only attack when you get close, so you basically have to use decoys in this battle. Because they only move their main force when you or something else gets near.

re: glitch!!!!

Precisely - and when one comes for you the others probably will.

That is the reason that the CPU players don't move many of their Units initially.

Actually, Crossroads is a predeployed map with no bases, airports, or naval ports.

re: Glitch

Well actually I find that pre-dep maps are easier. They are easier because you have less to think about, mainly unit production.
