	dang right this is a good game, amny people who have played everquest and all of those peeps say it is a relief to come and play this game, if u play it alot then it is worth every pennie

	i have a general question about multi online games. being a single player gamer i cannot understand why you have to pay a monthy fee to play an online game.to me this seems like a con.Can anyone shed any light on this as i am interested in playing an online game but cannot understand why after buying the game in the shops they want me to pay a monthly fee.(restricting you to only playing that game) any advise...

	This is an awesome game. Kev, some people are into the social side of MMRPG's. You have people you can group with, you can get help right away with problems and you can avoid the painful process of die-reincarnate-die-reincarnate that comes with low levels in most RPG's. My favourite games of all time are the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/Neverwinter Nights but I also really enjoy playing DAoC for the social aspect. There is always someone online to play with (or against) and the input from all these players gives the developers the feedback they need to keep the game bug-free (mostly) and more and more fun as it continues to grow. Also remember that you get your first month free when you buy the game so right now you are looking at $18 to buy c/w expansion CD + $12 for the on-line time.
