It took me about 7 hours to get up to my rathian urgent and complete it with bows only. However, im still using the begining armor (un upgraded) because none of the skill sets for the other armors appeal to me, when will the armor actually start becoming decent? If not soon, what should i use? 	Not sure if it'll be the same with bows as I strictly use the SA, but Jaggi armor will get you all the way through LR. Jinouga armor is awesome, too. -------------------

	Silver soul armor is probably the best (all except the chest piece) but till then use the pumpkin armor (I don't know the name of it). -------------------

Btw the pumpkin armor is called nightmare. it has concentrate which is great for bows (both low and high rank versions have concentrate) -------------------

	I know he is looking for low rank armor, but this is how I feel about bow at end game. Silver soul set with rapid lvl 4 bow will be the best. If you able to constantly hit the weak spot, you will get attk up, affinity from expoiter skill (25 % increase), normalS/rapid up (10%). And the arrow count 4X? (not sure 4x or 5x) from rapid lvl 4. And all hits land on weak spot. I don't think any pierce or scatter bow can ever match it.

	Yeah. I was considering the nightmare armor, btw is there a completed bow tree anywhere? I need a decent fire bow and i dont know if the arc cero path, or the peco path is worth it (for arc cero, ice and thunder too). Ps.
