In case it doesn't make it to the west, does your PSP have to be homebrew for the patching to work? I've always kept my PSP to its factory setting.

Edit: I know nothing of the PSP Homebrewing and no clue how to "crack" it I guess would be the term.

Your PSP has to be hacked (look at some PSP hack forums).

Keep in mind that PSP 3000's can be hacked now up to 6.35 firmware. 6.35 and above cannot be hacked. Hacked doesn't mean CFW though, it can only run the Iso Loader.

Higashizawa has a point, they should advertise and hipe the game up on t.v. and such. That's how i found unite (sorta).

Lol, I think Dom and I are about the only two people playing in Japanese. It really isn't that hard, even making mixed armour sets and using gems isn't too taxing

Yeah, exactly. You know which colour and monsters are associated with certain gems. I did have a few problems with the new skills, but it didn't take long to work out what was what =)

I have a feeling that Capcom don't want to make two releases of MHP3 content in the west. My tuppence worth is that after the inevitable 3G is released, the west will get a rebranded release similar to Unite. That is just the way I'm reading it though, there's no source to my conjecture If people want it that bad they can import it, I mean it isn't 'double the price' as was stated. I paid £28 for Unite when it was released and £37 inc del for P3, it's not exactly a huge difference.
