Custom Armour Thread

Hey, I thought I would get this very handy thread up and running. Feel free to add any mixed sets that you use, and remember to include gems and required rank =) I'll start us off with what I consider the most broken set in the game against enemies weak to Fire.

{Gunner}

Requirement - Endgame

Ukanlos (+3 Fire dam)
Rathalos S (+3 Fire dam)
Rathalos S (+1 Rapid fire)
Rathalos S (+3 Fire dam)
Alatreon (+4 element up)
Charm - +4 element up

Gives : Element Atk Up, Fire Damage+2, Bonus Shot, and Stinger.

In which case either Maze is wrong, you misread, or Capcom messed up.

Element attack up and Elemental damage+2 both show as active skills, and I swear it takes me less shots to kill things with both.

I can't use this as "proof" as it isn't the same class, but allowing it on a Bow but not Bowgun seems ridiculous.

Standard Fire Bow - 2O fire

Fire damage +2 - 24 fire

Fire damage +2 AND Element up - 26 fire

So they stack on a Bow.

To put it in perspective, you miss out on ~1O fire remakes due to lack of Bullet Limit, but you can still bring any fire weak monster down with your ~9O fire rounds using that set.

Even the big boys don't need much past Fire.
Around 5Onormal 3 finished both Ukanlos and Ama off when my fire ammo ran out (Although I used Ballistas on Ama and 9 crags on Ukanlos)

I'm trying to find a set that does the same but with Thunder instead of Fire.. but nothing seems to overlap as nicely as Fire sets skill wise =(

It has Element Attack Up now instead of Awakening. It also has alot of slots, including 3-slot pieces, so it is a far better set now.

It's also much easier to make now due to the Horns breaking easily and the speed it can be annihilated with a Hammer. Have you seen the guy on Youtube? Like 7.30 solo lol..

Load up works with Gunlance. It will add one extra shot (great for spread type gunlances) and Gunnery King makes Wyvern Fire, Gunlance shots, Crag shots, Cannon, and Ballista shots do more damage. Great for facing Amatsu and Jhen Mohran.
