Monster Hunter Portable 3rd translation help (not a patch)

So, I've been playing the game for a couple of days now, and I haven't faced any difficulties despite that I cannot read/speak Japanese. So, I thought that I should help the guys here. First of all, if you already played the old games, everything is almost organized in the same way. What I understood without any websites' help: Potion, whetstones, antidotes, herb, book of combos (1 to 5), etc.

It was the icons that helped me, so be sure to always concentrate at the icons, because they'll explain what the items are if you already played old versions of the MH-series and know a lot of the items. And now for the most thing that supported me were those sites: http://pastebin.ca/2007359

I used the first one if I couldn't find the items I wanted to in the third list. If you're looking for something and can't find it, hold ctrl and then hit the F-button, and type what you're looking for, your internet browser will mark the word if it's available there. Now here's a tip, if you're on a quest, that is based on gathering things (special mushrooms or eggs), always use the third list and look at the Account Items. Because all the gathering quests' items that you're supposed to get are account items. And the last tip I have is: When you get a shell or find something rare that you don't know what it is, check its icon and match it using the third/second list (monster parts are in the second list) for example: I found a rare ore, but I don't know what it is, if the ore's icon is red, I would use the third list and find a red ore icon and then see if the letters match.

So does the game generally use a lot of Japanese? I can speak and read some, but I've got a lot of limitations since I'm not fluent yet.

Hey I want to import characters from my 2g, but i don't understand what it is all about after i go import character since there IS a lot of choice.

i dont know japanese but i think i can go pretty well
