I don't think that </ should be there.

It's most likely a problem with NAMFox as the coding was fixed a while ago and does not show the "</" for me.

I 100% support this. The forum is in desperate need of a quick trade thread (should be stickied) as it allows more room for shops and other more interesting requests. A lot of people ask for starter pokemon for example and that uses up a spot in the list, whereas it could be a simple post in the quick trade thread.

This would definitely work, I have seen it working on many other pokemon trading sites and am quite surprised we don't have one here.

Agreed. I have seen it in two other forums and I love the idea.

On another note, I kind if want to see more people learn about event values. Everyday I see awful trades and my heart breaks. To fix this I have been doing 'Event Mentorship,' and I taught people about events, there value, rated there list, and suggested what to trade for.

I have gotten very positive reviews and I want a thread stickied about this so everyone who wants or needs the opportunity should get it.

That'd be nice I've been getting quite a few pms asking questions too from a lot of different people, I'm trying to start sending them your way as you're offering Event Mentorship (of course if you don't want me to you don't have to). I'm getting very annoyed now seeing posts like:

Seriously they happen all the time. The people to blame though really are proper event traders cos they must've released the rare events to people who don't really know what they're doing - that's my take on it anyway.

ya someone tried getting a legit jeremy ekens and vulpix and a goons scizor for 3 crown dogs. I got so angry i was about to just explode saying learn about events and such. It really got me annoyed but what i really think we need should be like the possible soon to be battle mentor thread. But instead we need an event mentoring thread for people that need the help from the event pros on the forum or we could do a simpler approach and do a kind of "learn fair trades thread" And in there it will list events and there rareness to make sure everyone gets fair trades.

I also have a comment/suggestion. I don't think people should be allowed to open a shop until they've reached 100 posts. 100 posts shows a sign of trust (usually), and if someone sets up a shop with 30 posts for example, you can't so much trust that their Events/shiny Pokemon etc. are legit. And people certainly shouldn't be allowed to clone with under 100 (or even 150) posts...

Does anyone get what I'm saying, or am I just rambling on?
