Fallout Tactics is a spin-off of the early Fallout games, and is kind of a cult-cult classic. That is to say, some early Fallout fans love it it to death, while others find it rather mediocre. Whatever camp you're in, the Fallout Tactics Redux mod has just been released, which should be good enough reason for anyone to give it a go.

The mod fixes a load of bugs and "inadequacies", overhauls weapons, characters, dialogue, random encounters,  and also adds some "novel" content. Given some of the changes are drastic, it could be reason enough to try the game vanilla first if you haven't before, lest modder Endocore buggered it all up and spoiled the purity of the game.
