Really? Because I believe that Cameron really does care about learning from humans. In my opinion, she seems to believe it will make her a more efficient (and better) machine if she has a greater understanding of how the world works in which she lives.

She just doesn't know how to handle certain situations yet, and ofcourse, her job of protecting John still is the most important thing.

Oh, I agree with ya. I meant she doesn't seem interested in going to that library/archive and learning for the sake of learning. She has no desires outside of her program to protect John Conner....

Though I do realize that is a bit contradicted by that one scene last season where Cameron decided to ballet dance in her room. There was no purpose to that.

This was a pretty low-key episode, but interesting nonetheless. With the whole episode bascially taking place in a few hours we know that not much time has passed since the last episode and John's interactions with Riley and the 3 dots, so i expect something to happen in the next few episodes about that.

I enjoyed the episode, not too much action, it looked like they really had to edit the episode down. For instance they cut the birth of Sydney right down, and the fight scenes with the other terminator and Cameron.

I enjoyed it though, nothing central to the plot, except maybe that they could now go after the girl, who's name escapes me, soon.

I don't normally like it when shows show flashbacks to say we've already met this character who's actually making their debut in this episode, we get enough of things like that in Heroes because they have some really bad writers. However, seeing as this doesnt seem too important to the overall story arc, I'll let them away with it. Not the best episode by far but certainly still a good one, and very enjoyable.

They were airing show in the present, plus several months before, and Derrick in the future.

I thought this was a great episode. It didn't effect the main story arc. And it's one where Cameron had hardly any dialog lines. No John either. But the writing was good.

Though the last scene confused me a bit.

man that was a good episode thats to long i have to wait till February? am i crazy for thinking that Cameron killed Riley?

Pretty good half-season finale.

So I guess we're led to assume thats some sort of skynet ship at the end? Because they sure as *bleep* wouldn't be introducing no aliens into the mix, haha.

I'm glad that Riley is dead as her character was really annoying most of the time, and Cameron still makes me laugh when she acts all hip.

I hate that we have to wait till February for episodes though, but I still like the switch to Friday nights.

I'm not sure I agree with Riley being from the future. There's a few holes there that don't make sense. Like when she and John were in the house and the Terminator was knocking on the door. If she saw how scared he was, she could have worked out what it was, yet she just naively answered it like a normal girl. I thought the scenes of her coming back to the present time were well done though.

Gutted it's off for a while though.

I'm still wondering if Cameron is going to fix her damaged chip. Or if she will still have malfunctions.

I still think she got a spare chip from the terminator from the 1920's and is going to swap her chip.
