Hey, anyone watch this show?

Season three starts on October 6th in the US. Not sure if we in the UK will get it at the same time or not. I love the old version but I think this new 'reimaging' is even better. Can't wait until it comes out and really hope us Brits don't have to wait too much longer for it to arrive here.

3 years???? I thought it was 1 or have I missed something? Have you seen any of the webisodes on the scifi channel? I haven't seen them yet as I can't at work. I'm going to check them out tonight when I get home. There are 2 two minute mini tasters on there that give you an idea of what is happening in series 3. Aparantly there is going to be a 1 hour starter show (not one of the normal episodes) narated by Laura Roslin telling you what has happened since series 2.

I love that fact that it is quite 'gritty' and that all the characters are flawed in some way. No-one is perfect and even the good guys screw up some of the time.

So here's the question - who do you think the remaining cylons are? I'm betting Anders is one and I think Balter is either one or a copy of 'their creator.' I have a suspicion that he is not human but not a normal cylon either. What do you think?

I now what you mean about Baltar. If he was an ordinary Cylon it would be a little lame. But I also think he must be involved somehow. I mean, how did he survive when the bomb destroyed his house? How does he speak to number 6 (I mean when he got into her head in series 2.) Thats why I think he could be a kind of copy of another Baltar who is on their home world or something.

I reckon 5 more will be revealed. The last one will not be revealed until the finale and that person will be either Baltar or Roslin or Adama. I'm sure it has to be someone really big.

I heard the webisodes are quite basic (main people just talking in the tents down on new caprica.) They are just meant to show you how the resistance is developing.

I know what you mean about Tigh. I hated him at first but I have started to warm to him a little. He has a much bigger role in the new series from what I have heard.

SO who do you reckon is going to turn out to be a cylon then?

Basically, the first 5 episodes are about the resitance. Then they eventually get off the planet and escape but I don't know how. Starbuck aparantly has a very bad time in the first 4 episode (in interviews Katy Sackoff has said it is far worse than anything you have seen yet) and I know Anders dies pretty early on. Still to be confirmed if he is a cylon or not but i'm betting he is. Starbuck also starts a relationship with someone 'really unexpected.' I have a funny feeling this is Colonel Tigh as he would be very unexpected and he is the leader of the new resistance and they do become close. Also, there are colaborators who are working with the cylons.

Yeah, I like the fact that Starbuck is a little slutty too It took a while for me to get used to the fact that she is a woman in this version (having been a big fan of the original played by Dirk benedict.)

I think Adama takes a back seat in the opening episodes but then takes his rightful place in prime position when they get off the planet again.

I can't believe we are the only people on Neo who like this show! Isn't there anyone else on Neo who watched this show???

It's definately fatherly. Adama has the hots for President Roslin. Adama has a bond with Starbuck because of the death of his son (Zach) who was Starbuck's boyfriend. He also admire's her a lot as she is his best pilot. I'm certain he doesn't have the hots for her.

So who else do you think is a Cylon? What do you think of my theory that Baltar is a 'copy' of the cylon creator. I'm certain he is linked to them somehow otherwise he would have been killed when that nuke hit near his home and also because he can speak to number 6 (in her head as well as his.)

Definitely Hell_Fire, I totally fell for the twist with Kara like an idiot, forgetting that I'm watching BSG. But the important thing is, she would have easily killed Boomer (Sharon) and Helo's hybrid baby before, but she felt real love for what she knew (or believed) was her half cylon child !

I totally felt sorry for Tigh though, had to kill his wife (another thing I didn't *bleep*ing see coming the way it did, thought he'd build himself up to shooting her, I would have - she was a manipulative slut underneath her "genuine love for Tigh") and lost his eye in detention but those bastards on Galactica started cheering Adama. Tossers.

Also, who got a total boner when Lee came back and totally fracked Pegasus up just to save everyones ass .

Also, what's up with Number Three (Lucy Lawless character) and the baby? She was always cool imo, but I dunno what's gonna happen from now on with her, but she's gonna be in series three quite a lot!

Thank god I have Hell_Fire to talk BSG too . I dunno why rest of the forum isn't watching the show. I'm *bleep*ing acting like a giddy twat, it must be a good show!!! Watch it!!!

Haha, nah it's part of the storyline I think. To show how they'd grown rusty, older and useless since New Caprica was founded. Hopefully it will slowly reduce, I have an urge to punch him in the face everytime I see him.

Yeah. Between the start of series one and the end of series two, he got in pretty good shape. As for Kara... *whistles*. I had to look closely because at first I thought it was a different actress. Longer hair definitely suits her. Tigh needs to shave too, although it would go against the symbolism created by admiral Adama and his shaved mustache, as well as the cheif.
