I watched the first episode. It seemed too similar to Big Brother to me, and I didn't like the idea that the one guy could be "The Greatest Villain of All-Time" by being a complete douchebag to everyone else and remain in the game, so I stopped watching. Plus, Big Brother premiered the next week or so, so I could get my reality-competition fix.[/div]

As someone who had never seen BB before, I didn't mind the show at all. I watched a few episodes of BB this morning and could notice the extreme similarities, haha. I wouldn't imagine very many fans of this show to also be fans of BB, I guess - especially with the similar air dates.

Alex, the douche bag, was eliminated the first week, though. I liked the guy because of his douche-bagness, though, lol. The show's about pleasing the audience and the audience basically told him to be an asshole to everyone. He showed he was willing to do... just about anything, and the show became less amusing to watch afterwards.

The latest episode had the "showmance" almost in jeopardy as Joy was put up for elimination. I think it's strange how everyone I assume is on top (stephanie, Joy, etc.) are all sitting on the bottom(?) Why's the audience voting off Andrea, Mike, and the rest of that alliance if they're similarly going to rank the opposite alliance as the bottom? This audience is so bi-polar. How can anyone dislike Stephanie anyway?

Wanted to see Gene's dumb ass in Limbo with Joy but unfortunately it was Andrea. Let's see Joy go home this time. Andrea's been hit with basically all the bull shit of the show for doing... almost nothing. Stop making a huge political deal about pro-gay rights, Geoffrey, and play the game (this was weeks ago, but i'm still mad about it because it basically formed the alliances). I love to see Erika, who seems to be a fan favorite, finally sway away from Joy.


First couple weeks Joy was a fan favorite (assuming), but her constant screaming seems to be degrading her biiiiig time. Here's to hoping Andrea comes back and Gene gets depressed. I don't mind much either way, though.

So we're down to our Bottom Five with Erica back in the house and Gene leaving for good. Yay!


I feel like I'm talking alone, but here are my thoughts about this week. In general I thought the whole geoffrey-erica thing was ill placed. I think Geoffrey should have waited further down the line because I was fairly certain Gene would have been sent packing regardless of who was sent along with him - especially since Joy couldn't even replace Mike. Erica was a strong ally for him and he's been ranked fairly low since his breaking with her. Oh well. I still respect his ability to push through. He may not be a favorite of mine, but I do respect his skill.


That said, Erica/Kevin are my go-to picks for the winner, followed shortly by Andrea and Geoffrey. I think they're all very deserving of the win, and this is the first show where I think I've genuinely liked the bottom five. I think with the two alliances now dwindled down to "every man for himself," the heat is really being pulled off and even the Erica - Geoffrey fight wasn't as excited as I thought. Where'd all the drama go?



I'm placing bets that Erica will return again, which hopefully means Mike's out for good. I'd like to see Erica, Kevin, Geoffrey and Andrea as final four because they all really deserve it. I'm still missing Stephanie, though.

All I know is that the guy who won, Kevin I guess is his name, is from my hometown. Kind of cool, not gonna lie.
