You know I love Eccelsmex, but I never understood just why they didn't stick with Mcgannis, I reckon it could've worked.

But I don't think any less of the series, Ecclesmex was amazing. Tennant was hit and miss and Smithew is fantastic.

But still, I think Mcgannis got the short end.

They tend to be between 2-4 hours and cost around £12.. so if you have the whole set, I'm so robbing you!!
I miss Tom Baker now, weird how nostalgia can grip me.

Also, buying singles of tv shows is stupid. I never do that, for Tv shows OR anime. Too many DVDs, and they take up way too much space.

If you want pre-ninth Doctor Who on DVD, you don't have much choice.

sendit.com mate, they have regular specials on scifi dvds. I got the complete Babylon 5 there for £34 on a special weekend, same kinda thing with DW..

In other news, Matt Smith is a perfect human being

I remember hearing that story before luffy. I think the best bit is how he's broken so many screwdrivers because you can just imagine Smith doing that.

About eleventh's fixation with hats, I think that's partly based on Smith. I remember someone saying they knew it would be a bad idea to give him a fez in The Big Bang because they knew Smith would want it all the time.

Also, I'm rewatching series 5 at the moment, trying to see if there's anything I've missed that could pay off in the current series (because I'm sure there're probably some things in there) and I've noticed, eleventh seems to get more epic speeches than Ninth and Tenth, I'm not sure if that's just the writing or whether they feel Smith can deliver those sort of lines better.

Narcissus Yeh, he's practically obsessed with it. He's currently at uni doing scriptwriting and is convinced he's gonna write for Who some day.
