I've had a feeling for a while that Tyrion is going to end up fighting on the Starks side. I can see him falling out with his family who he doesn't seem to get on with or fit in with, and he seems to have alot more understanding with the Starks.

I completely agree. He seemed very close to Jon Snow (technically not a Stark, but close enough ) and I can see him turning his back on his incestual siblings.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen with Bran. Despite his disability there's the sense that he's got some important role to play...I want to know what it is already!

What about the younger Stark brother?! I always thought I heard about another brother and it was the first time I think we've seen him. He exists!

Drogo is a mother*bleep*er, I love him.

I seriously want to see Drogo cross the sea already, and open a can of whoop ass on the Lannister's.

Excellent episode, it's just getting better and better!

Well... Definitely didn't see that coming. I figured Arya would somehow stop them. I'm curious as to who that woman is that was with Tyrion, and I'm also quite interested to learn what's going to happen with Drogo and Khalesi.

S01E09 - "Baelor"" (Spoilers!)

I'm not going to say "I told you so", so I will state "I informed you thusly". I informed you thusly, repeatedly, that Joffrey was going to grow up to be a stupid tyrant and look what he did!! *bleep*ing hate him so much! Cersei has no control over him anymore. He was smugly brushing her off to giggle in delight at his own command to have Ned beheaded. Cersei's a bigger fool than Joffrey by thinking she'd be able to still declare the order once he was king. I lold at Archangel and Mouldy Cheese thinking Arya would have been able to save Ned. C'mon.. she's a freakin child and Joffrey was surrounded by guards. They'd both have been killed and Ned knew she'd do something stupid, that's why he had that ranger of the Night's Watch hold her back.

Really enjoyed that bit where we learned more about Aemon. Really quite shocked when he revealed to Jon his loyalty has been tested before just like Jon's is now and that he is actually Aemon Targaryen, who stood back and did nothing, kept his loyalty to the Night's Watch instead of avenging his brother, the Mad King and now must live with that decision for the rest of his life. I get the feeling with that scene and the way Jon is conflicted, he's going to leave the Wall and join Robb in the war.

You all doubted me but has Robb not proved to be an effective leader? That battle plan was awesome, even if it did cost them 2,000 men, but Tywin took the bait. I cheered when they dumped Jaime on the ground at Catelyn's feet.

I'd be willing to bet anything that Dany loses her child. Death can pay for life, but what's a horse's death to a human's? The unborn child for her husband. That's the price she has to pay for going back into that tent after being warned not to. Kind of been getting annoyed with her "I am Khaleesi" shit every time someone defies her, so it was awesome when she said she has never been a nobody and brought up her blood of the dragon heritage. I was waiting for her to go grab a stone rock or something from the fire and burn the *bleep*er's eyes out with it and show everyone what being a true Targaryen is all about. haha. That guy ended up dying anyways by Jorah slitting his face, so it's cool in my book.

I lold at Tyrion getting knocked out and trampled on by his own savages he commanded. lmao. Interested in who this chick is but I know we probably wont find out until next season. Ugh.. not looking forward to one final episode left. Sunday nights have went from being "dreadful work week tomorrow" to "can't get here soon enough". Granted True Blood Season 4 starts immediately after to fill the void, but it's still going to be a long year wait for Season 2. =(

I complain when things annoy me. I can't even think of anything that annoyed me in that episode. Leave the ending alone, that was still the best written/exectued episode to date,

I break the plot lines down into the Good, the Great, and the Genius.

THE GOOD:

The Dothrakhi plot line is kinda circling right now and serves more to provide action than story. Khal Drogo getting sick and the blood magic seemed out of left field, but whatever.

What's been annoying me the most about the Dothraki is Dany saying "I am Khaliese" every three lines -- and what was cool about this episode is that it started to piss off characters in the story as well. Not a great fix, but a GOOD step in the right direction.

Don't really care if Drogo or the kid dies, consider they just killed Ned *bleep*in Stark. Any other deaths are subsidiary.

THE GREAT:

Lions vs. Wolves.

Robb Stark emerging as the standard issue, archetypical hero is being done unbelievably well. The Greyjoy boy is a great "sidekick" of sorts for him as well. He adds a smile to all the serious conversations. The bait strategy and the capture of Jamie Lannister were made GREAT by Robb Stark telling Jamie to go *bleep* himself when he offered a duel.

On the other side of things, Tyrion's storyline got a left field augment by the addition of that woman. She's the kind of female character I LOVE: absolutely stunning, powerful in character, and whip smart with her dialogue. Her introduction to Tyrion was borer line genius writing. "What's that accent?" "Foreign." is West Wing caliber dialogue. In fact, both scenes with her were written out of the ballpark -- her introduction, and Tyrion's game. I was actually kinda mad at their two line exchange in the morning because it wasn't genius.

THE GENIUS:

Whenever you can long range set up a twist from one location to another -- GENIUS.

All of the stuff on the wall was great. From learning lineages, to Snow getting his sword, learning that Mormont is a Bear was a nice little bit of info. But the juice, as everyone has already stated, was Aemon Targareyan. His little speech was pure GENIUS. He says that Ned Stark has a choice A) Keep his honor and die or B) End up exactly like AEmon Targareayan- the man giving the speech -- an old "traitor"

And then, of course, the story just leaps and doesn't chose either A or B. Instead, Ned gets C) lose your honor and your life.

Which finally brings me to Joeffry. Sure he's a complete tool bag. But he is not a little bitch, that's for sure. He deals with his enemies. He got rif of the guard that let the last king die. And he executed the one biggest threat to his reign. I think that's a great king, if the only requirement is making decisive decisions.

I still hate the prick. But his decisions as king so far have all been undeniably logical.

Getting your balls cut off with a hot dagger sounds *bleep*ing painful. If i was lord of some place i'd totally have a chick on hand to grope when i please. Aemon Targareyan's speech was intense, seriously the wall has the best dialogue and dynamic between characters of any place on the map so far. Love visiting the wall, and i'm torn between what i want jon to do as i'm not sure what he can offer his brother other than another sword. Robb seems to be holding his own anyways, sweet plan and execution. Speaking of executions, i didn't see Ned dying, at least not yet. Joffrey gets dafter by the day, listen tae yer maw son, she knows best. Intrigued as to who that girl Tyrion was with, also nice to learn a bit of his history. Dany's storyline took a back seat this episode, but i agree with everyone above, i reckon she'll lose her child.

Bit of a play-by-play.

Can't wait for next week, cant imagine myself being able to wait a whole year to see what will happen next. Books are getting bought methinks.

I'd have to disagree, both decisions where pretty poor and will probably come back to bite him. His made major enemies of the Starks and they have just taken Jamie captive, when he could of let Ned go and stopped the war. And that guard he got rid of is supposedly a great fighter and was more then a little pissed off about his treatment, he's just making enemies of the wrong people.
