Like, literally. A nuclear bang. That kaboom sets the stage for the final season, and we're counting the days for the Premiere Event Tuesday February 2nd 8/7c. The show has always been teasing us with mysteries, but we do know some things. The island is always moving and it contains a pocket of powerful electromagnetic energy. That energy caused Oceanic 815 to crash. Fate, or maybe Jacob, seems to have brought all the passengers together. But then they all got separated, either by getting rescued from the island or by traveling through time or maybe it was a little of both. And now Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox) is rallying the survivors to rewrite their fates by preventing their plane from crashing in the first place. Oh, and we also know that a lot of you prefer Sawyer (Josh Holloway) to wear only his trademark sneer rather than a shirt. Some of you were also probably thinking that LOST exec producers/masterminds Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse were making everything up as they went along. But after five seasons, everything is coming together into a grand master plan. And since Season 6 is the final season, start preparing for your mind to be blown because they're gonna have to tie up all those loose ends and pay things off with some answers. Pretty monumental, right? Or, to quote Hurley (Jorge Garcia), "Duuuude." Warning: The following videos may contain spoilers. Even if he didn't see the Light itself, he probably saw it "in the Monster" since that's where it came from ^^ Yeah I was thinking this, the only other alternative for what information we have is the 'flashes' element of the monster in collecting information on the past's of the characters. And whilst the MiB's reasons for leaving the Island are literally 'to go home' without other motive it seems, its still left open whether he would want to kill everyone across the sea. He seems to be some corruption of the Source's light, yet what if he is only killing the candidates to leave? What if he has no intention of killing everyone on off the Island? Was Jacob lying? Now i'm not suggesting he should leave, but that he might not be as truly evil as told. He has shown compassion for Claire, a sign that he doesn't hate all people. 	Agreed. The whole of last week's episode left quite a sour taste in my mouth, especially considering how much I've enjoyed this season thus far. I was so much looking forward to the episode that was slated to finally reveal the whole story behind the smoke monster. Not that it didn't, but it did in such a way that I was pretty disappointed by it. My biggest complaint, probably, was the missed opportunity to answer some of those nagging questions, like why the MiB can't cross water, or his aversion to ash. Or the whole Egyptian connection. There's plenty of others, too, but I digress. Great performance by Titus Welliver, anyway. Hope it wasn't the last we'll see of him.

I thought he was immortal anyway, or did he just not age? It wouldn't surprise me if he actually was dead though. Richard's immortal, at least for now. remember when the grenade blew up in his face underwater when he killed Charlie and he was totally unscathed? now that Spoiler: Jack is the new guardian and Jacob is probably gonna die soon, Richard might die too. i guess well find out on Sunday.

	so now that Jack is the new "Jacob" does that mean MIB can now "legally" (is that even the right word?) kill the others? i was under the assumption that he himself could not kill them because it was a question of which one was to be Jacob...now that it's official, he should no longer be bound and i think the others are fair game...
