Um.... is "no" an approriate response? FBI was office space. The new CTU looks exactly like CTU:LA would look if it were upgraded 5 years into the future. I think its perfect. I had a mini-orgasm when I saw the place.

Though it does seem a little odd at times. Like when he barked at Renee about her cutting off the guys thumb was proof that she wasn't ready when he cut off a guys head in basically the exact same situation.

To tell you the truth i did like the Old CTU better although the new one is cool.The final 2 hours were good I like Renee with her hair up she was so freaking sexy.and i think if Audrey Raines doesn't return this season which i know she will return Renee and Jack are gonna have a relationship and if Audrey Raines returns she will be Jealous or react in someway.I liked when Renee Cut off that guys arm instead of his wrist band and how Jack Bauer reacted was priceless.I really thought President Hassan was gonna die by the bomb but he didn't there was a lot of twists in the show.I really hate that guy thats stalking Dana Walsh and keeps calling her jenny hes a creeper and a bit**.Can't wait to see next weeks episode its gonna be even crazier then the last.and Oh on a added note when they found the weapons grade enriched uranium in that guys system they know that they are trying to use it on U.S Soil cannot wait to see how that plays out.and oh why isn't jack seeming sick like he was from last season? And i really hope Renee and Jack have a intimate relationship i would like to see that and then Audery jumps in the mix at last minute i wanna see those turns of events happen can't wait till house appears on the same night as 24.best night on television.

Well I think so far he's been a bit of a bitch because he thought it would just be a couple hours and then he'd get to leave, but now that he's on for the whole day and he knows it, he's going to get back to his old ways. Plus that whole 'Renee is Jack's past' thing that everyone's mentioning is probably part of it too.

I totally agree with your post thats why Jack is acting the way he is on this season so far.He will get use to it and being badass again just wait till the next episode airs.

Yeah I noticed that, I think it's to get as much glass into the set as possible. Glass = the future. I think it's meant to symbolise that the new CTU is transparent in it's operations, but then again, it is hidden underground. And that interrogation room is *bleep*ing sinister.

Yea the New CTU is awesome but not as good as the old one its a Fact. i don't believe in opinions.Opinions<Lies<Rumors.

Take that back! Sackhoff is awesome and a talented actress (only really seen her in BSG though). She's my favorite part of this season so far.

First two episodes were average. The most recent one was the best. Renee is interesting to watch. Definitely can't say I saw her actions at the end coming.

I wanna know why the made the blond "Jenny" chick wear a sleeveless shirt; her shoulders are so manly.

I'll assume you were making a joke, she's an awful actress. She seems to barely even be a human, more like a robot of some kind.

A bit off topic but this 'drone' thing seems to be something based on reality.

That's pretty cool. Seems like there would be a huge problem with civil liberties groups for protection of privacy. Still though, for a big conference like the one we're seeing in 24, I think it would be great for security.

I wish they were doing more than one a week, TORTURE! luckily i didnt get into 24 until day 5 was out on dvd so i just binge watched seasons 1-5 on dvd

I think the producers think we're stupid enough to think they're doing new stuff by shuffling who gets the cards instead of the cards themselves. They're reusing everything. Old plot devices. Old storylines. Even old dialouge.

Sticking with the metaphor, I think the problem is that they've just been playing the game too long. No matter what they deal, we've seen it all (at least us who have been watching from Season 1). A big part of me wants to just save myself the 40 minutes a week, but that small part that watched Season 1-4 over the coruse of 5 days without leaving my dorm room for anything excpet the bathroom or to get water for my ramen, wants to see Day 8 to the end. Hopefully it does something new so that the 40 minutes aren't torture...

Basically the only storyline I was even relatively connected to was Takedo Kensai's (or w/e his name on Heroes was). Of course we all know that all that's going to happen is that that doctor (or the brother) is going to die and that's how CTU gets to the Uranium...

And another thing, 5 hours.... where the hell is this Uranium? LA?
