Glee

Kaiba, I've been dying to find someone to talk to about The Glee Project. I've seen every episode and actually like it way more than the actual show o: Just something about it is really interesting for some reason. =\

I'm extremely upset that Hannah was sent home this week, though. Such a shame. After sending the other talent home, Marissa, why send the ONLY other glee - worthy character home? It's pathetic. She had character; she was actually fit to be in the show. Her vocals aren't great but neither are some of the actual caste's.

Damien, the Irish guy, is the only one i'm voting for, now.

Dreadlocks and miss 'i'm all about drama' are annoying and need to go. Dreadlocks doesn't even have a bad ass feeling about him. He's scrawny and in no way looks "fierce", so when everyone says he nails it, I'm confused. He's worthless and weird looking, everything his character's not.

Completely agree about Lindsey. She's fake.

Samuel just doesn't look like he belongs, though. .__. He's just weird looking. As in, his movements and everything are really strange. And he doesn't look scary or a bad ass. =\

Damien was the guy I wanted to win from the beginning, but like Archangel said, doubt he actually will. It's between Alex, Samuel and Lindsey, and no one likes them.

The Glee Project ::

Samuel is so fake.
Damien won't make it because he's not a 'star'. I want him to, but he won't simply because his voice isn't superb. =\ Just my predictions, though, based off of Ryan's comments.

It's down to Lindsey and Alex, I think. I think they're the ones that will make it far.

He's cool, I just don't like the way he moves. Haha. I would LOVE to try out, but I've had no experience with acting or SINGING XD I've always been interested, though.

I know! Can you make sure to tell me when they are on? I don't actually watch the live episodes; I've just watched some on netflix/on demand. The Project was the only real Glee show that I've followed live.

I haven't seen much season two, so now seeing season three (watching it now!) is just strange. Can anyone fill me in on what happened season two?

So, I haven't seen the last episode, but I'm pretty sure Pot O' Gold had Damien in it. How was it, guys? Hoping it was really, really good! Hopefully I can see it soon!

Anyone see it? I have it on On Demand and need to see it ASAP! I've just been getting home lately. D: But yeah, I really, really want to see this one.

Watched myself some Mash Up the other day and thought it was so-so. I have the synopsis on the Glee Wiki if you guys are interested in reading it (or better yet, CONTRIBUTING PLEASE PLEASE!). I like how they're finally utilizing the fact that Santana is homosexual, but I still think the whole storyline is plain and boring at the moment.

Troubletones aren't as threatening as I thought they would be, and the whole "we're independant girls!" has both shifted my interest from them to wanting to see more Tina Cohen-Chang, Artie and Co. I also want Quinn to be murdered. They ruined her character and she's beyond insane now. Glad to see her get pushed out of Shelby's house. Serves her right.

I was just starting to like her too, not even lying. She finally got real and her, "when the snow falls in new haven..." speech to Rachel got me back in love with her (for more than her body!) I need to catch myself up ASAP.

I finally caught myself up to On My Way! Has anyone else watched this or enjoyed it as much as me? I think they definitely will be having fans screaming for these next seven weeks. xD

The switch up really was great! I haven't seen the graduation episode yet but I plan to as soon as possible. It looks great.

I didn't think Dani Shay deserved to go home. Tyler Ford is a talent-killer! We already have Unique, we don't need another one with a horrible voice. RIP Danny Shay

I was upset that Lily's freak attack wasn't this episode, though. Looking forward to next week!

Pretty good third episode.

Glad Michael got to stay, as am I with Charlie (though his personality is a bit annoying...). I love how Nellie is really stepping into her character. I see her, Aylin, Blake, Michael and Charlie going far. I think Shanna and Lily are going to usurp some of those spots, though, because they're pretty damn good, too. As is Abraham with his new, black hair.

All in all, I think the competition is pretty high. I'm still rooting for team Aylin/Nellie/Charlie/Blake/Michael, though. Can we get a five-way this time?

Week seven: Theatricality *start rant*


I was genuinely pleased with this week, actually, except for the end. I'll start by adding some notes that I gathered and what I think about the contestants after seeing this episode (because opinions change so quickly with a show like this).

• Overall, I thought the week was pretty good. As much as I think Ali is taking up a spot for a potentially better contender, she's been keeping her game up well and deserved the homework assignment win because she pulled it off well. I think she has an amazing personality, but in terms of a potential Glee Role, I would hate to see her get it. Kudos for her good job this week. Previews suggest that she wins next week's homework assignment, too. *sigh*
• I loved how Blake got *insert name here* because I loved seeing him portray a homosexual character. Is that weird? Haha. I think Blake is a good contender because he's a great actor and has a face that is easy to look at. In terms of vocals, I think he comes second to last ahead of abraham (see: rant on Abraham).
• Lily Mae, holy shit. Lily Mae has an alright voice and usually only acts tough parts. Don't cast her as a New Directions, pleaaaase. I'm mainly angry at her, too, now that Nellie is gone. See: Rant on Abraham grow stronger after he was called back and Nellie was not. That said, I think Lily is a contender because she truly represents a part of society that we haven't seen yet as glee fans. I'm not necessarily rooting for her, but I'm not completing against her, either. Just.... for the love of God, please PLEASE PLEASE stop bitching your way out of bottom three. We don't want to see you break down every week because you're fat. You're overplaying that card, Lily. Hannah in season one was fat, but she was extremely sincere and nice, too. It's not impossible.
• Aylin! With Nellie gone, Aylin is probably my go-to-winner. I love how she, out of everyone there, knows that she has a chance at winning this thing and truly believes she will. Yet she does this all without coming off as a snyde bitch, haha. Aylin has the most interesting character to her and she does a very good job each week. I think she truly has a very good chance to win this.
• Shanna in the house! I admittingly never liked Shanna, but I've always respected why she was in the top running in terms of the females. Shanna is Aylin's competition, I think, because they're both so ambitious towards winning this competition. I think she has a really good chance with winning because I she hasn't seen bottom three yet and is very deserving of that title.
• Michael is basically in the same boat as Blake. As much as I like his pretty face and sweet personality, the kid just isn't that great. =\ Sorry man, but there are more deserving conteders. I do, however, like him more than blake.
• I covered ali in my first bullet point. I've never been a fan but she deserved to be safe this week. Just please don't continue being on the show for very long. let's get rid of Abe and then you. Nothing personal.
• Abraham, you suck. You are not a good singer and, while I respect that you are you despite the negative feedback you've received as a child, you don't deserve to kick out real competition. You're kind of annoying and despite being what appears to be a genuinely friendly guy, you are not right for Glee. Please don't win.

I think I covered everyone there, but I'm not totally sure.



In terms of the episode, I thought it was good. Everyone did a good job and it was interesting to see.


Now it's my Nellie rant. Prepare yourselves.


I admittingly walked into this episode knowing she would be eliminated because of previews and comments on YouTube and such that I've seen. However, seeing Abraham and Lily throw their temper tantrums and scream "I'm proud!" was just annoying to see beat her. Nellie came out, did a HELL OF A JOB and was still sent home despite it. Nellie represented an honest-to-god high school student in terms of being so insecure and shy yet so outrageously confident while singing.

I understand why Ryan was disappointed in her, and I also respect that in terms of this being a job someone can't fail to perform on par or take a bunch of shoots to get the job done, but it was still a bit heart breaking to see Nellie go. She was a genuine character and was easily the audience's favorite. I wish the show was shot to represent what we, as the audience, thought, because most of us were wanting Nellie to win. I really hope she wins fan favorite and receives 10,000$ because she deserves it!

They knew Nellie wasn't a sexy person, though, and the fact that they continued to put her in almost the only sexy spots were ridiculous. If she was given Ali or Lily's parts, I don't think she would have been attacked so much for lacking confidence.


tl;dr about Nellie, I respect the decision that Ryan made in terms of Nellie not acting professional because of her insecurities, but I HATE how he failed to see that she represented everything that Glee is. This bottom three should have had Nellie coming out of it. I would understand if someone like Shanna or Aylin got the spot over her, but not Lily mae and Abraham. =\

Another interesting video, especially given the one-take shoot. I'm kind of upset with Ali's success - that sounds horrible, but I'm just being honest.


I don't have many notes this week except for my pleasure with seeing Abraham go. If anyone deserved it, it was definitely him this week. I think Lily Mae and Ali are the main place holders now. Michael is for me as well, but he seems to have more support than the other two from my browsing of Youtube and things. The audience is hating on Ali and Lily every chance they get!


Blake, Aylin and Shanna should definitely make bottom three. Spoilers says otherwise, though.

The Glee Project ^Actability


Overall, another amazing week. Despite my weirdly sad feeling for the elimination this week, I think the bottom three (yes, not four!) will make it easier on Ryan. I would absolutely love for even all five of these contenders (before elimination) to make it on on Glee, but last season's "oh, nevermind! You're all on!" was a bit of a disapointment for some reason. I think one contender deserves a clear cut spot on Glee and the others should go packing. Hopefully Ryan just chooses the right one.

Interesting enough, my top five(?) from the beginning was: Nellie, Aylin, Blake, Michael, and Charlie. All five were extremely well-liked and talented contenders, but I'm happy to see three of five make it to bottom five. Interesting enough, characters like Shanna, Lily Mae and Ali somehow crept up on me and had me rooting for them in recent weeks. Yes, I did say Ali... even after my huge rant about her. For some reason I had a change of heart, and I think she's a strong competitor now.

Glee - "Time Promo"





"Unique"'s going to be entering the McKinley High Glee Club. Time to stop watching this show! Watching Alex Newell through The Glee Project made me hate him so much. Him being on the show as a cast member now is a bit annoying to me. =\ I feel like they can get someone to represent transgendered much better than he does. *sigh*

Yeah, I'm very excited for that. I'm not excited for Unique, though. Jacob looks interesting, but the new-Quinn doesn't look interesting to me at all.

It'll be fun seeing who they keep around and who kind of fades off as alumni.

I like the build up to the eventual break up across the board. I was afraid of them splitting from everything built in season three, but with the unique new characters and personalities I'm really enjoying it.

But no mention and the appearance of Alex Newell is frustrating.

I didn't even recognize kitty and jake's break up, haha.

I thought Glease was a refreshing episode from the episode prior to it. I thought the "cavalry" and the reunion of all the characters was exciting to see. I also really like Marley and Ryder together; they make an awesome pair. Jacob's as adorable as ever, and I think Kitty plays the bitchy cheerleader quite well. Filling Quinn, Puck, Finn and Rachel's shoes felt almost impossible pre-season four, but I think Kitty, Jacob, Ryder and Marley do an excellent job at bringing a unique new twist to the roles of what will eventually be some important main characters.



I enjoyed how they brought Finn and Rachel back and Blaine and Kurt back. I thought the ambiguity behind the The Break-Up was odd considering how much time they spent together. I absolutely hate how Blaine cheated on Kurt after all the extremely romantic things he did Season Three (and even early Season Four), but I guess it had to be done somehow.

"Rachel's right. This isn't our home anymore," struck a nerve in me. Kurt and Rachel are officially over Lima, and the bitter sweet feeling of seeing them all together again for the play ended a bit sour. Looks like Rachel's luck back home isn't any better, though. I had higher expectations of Brody, too.



It looks like everything is just *bleep*ed up, honestly. While I think the new direction and drama and everything is awesome, I'm really missing the dynamic roles of Quinn, Kurt, Mercedes, Rachel, Finn, Puck, Santana and Mike a whole lot, especially after seeing them all together again. Hopefully they'll be back.

Couldn't agree more. Every episode there's a reason for the old members to be back, and it's getting a little hard to believe. I do like me some Santana, though.


In I Do Unique made no appearance (as far as I remember), and they introduces another The Glee Project contestant for the first time. Makes me wonder if they've dropped Unique for Ali like they randomly dropped Damien McGinty.

Not sure how many people even still watch this on Neoseeker, but I was disappointed with this season's finale. It was pretty lame.

New Directions definitely didn't even deserve the win. The "Who's Your Daddies" (or whatever) definitely out-performed New Directions tenfold. Jessica Sanchez is just too perfect. Brittany's acceptance into college early is an odd little side story and Blaine's sudden desire to marry Kurt might be even more ridiculous. What's happening?
