God, no, not me. I'm so *bleep*ing sick of that song - when I saw Tony scroll over it on the jukebox, I was like "*bleep*."

In the first episode of this season and last week,the scene where tony and bobby are in the boat.BOBBY SAYS "you probaly never hear it"meaning you never even know when you get shot.And there was a good 10sec of black screen so tony is dead and you could not hear anything

"this is what i found out.the guy at the bar is credited as nikki leotardo.The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 concerning the future of vito he is phils nephew.Brother nikki senior dide in a car accident in 1976.Absolutely genius!!!!!david chase is truly rewarding the fans who pay attention to detail.

so the point would have been that life goes on and we never may know what really happened.But if you pay attention to the history of the characters in the resturaunt.the truck drivers brother was robbed and killed by christopher in (season 2).He had to identify the body,the boy scouts were in the trainshop.And the 2 blackguys tried to kill tony but only clipped him im the ear (season 3).And the guy at the bar is phils nephew he had like 1 part in (season 6)details above.

3 guys in that resturaunt had a reason to kill tony but who killed him I guess that is for you to decide what ending you like best.make one up

Apparently there seems to be some debate of what the last frame of the show was; a shot of Tony looking up, or a shot of Meadow rushing inside the diner (possibly a POV from Tony). I live in Las Vegas and distinctively remember the latter of Meadow entering the diner being the last frame. Some suggesting different coast feeds got slightly different endings.

Ending I saw- Meadow finally parks the damned car and is about to enter the restaurant. The scene cuts to Tony looking at the menu, and you hear the door jingle (bells). Tony looks up, staring in the direction of the doorway, cuts to black. Finished.

Didn't know about those historical threats being there too. Good eye.

That's either really, really lame or really, really cool. I've never watched the program, but I've heard both sides already. Bonus points for the Journey usage, at least.

Hmmm, you would not expect that kind of ending for a show that has been going on this long but I personally think it is not a good ending. I mean why in the heck would they end it like that? To keep us guessing but guessing for what? The next season, but that's not happening so I don't see the point.
