I predict scenes with Jessica and Pam will be full of WIN. And yes, she really needs to do something about that body. If Sookie can already smell it, imagine how bad it must be for a vampire? Good thing Bill's MIA, he'd be really pissed to find a corpse in the cupboard. Don't know if it's the same for Charlaine Harris' vamps, but in Anne Rice's books the smell of the dead was always supremely repugnant to the vampires because of their heightened senses.

That crossed my mind while I was watching the events unfold.

It makes sense that they're doing a plot arc with Pam and Jessica. They're both unique to the show and it gives them some room to work with outside Harris's original story.

Also, Pam is bad ass.

Yeah, I really liked seeing Eric and Godrick as Nazi SS in the flashback. The writers are doing a really good job of creating their own original story and mythology, while still remaining faithful to various elements from the different books. I honestly wasn't expecting some of the story threads from the books to be introduced so quickly, yet last night we got to meet Calvin Norris, we're briefly introduced to the mysterious little community of Hotshot, and Jason catches a glimpse of his mystery girl as well. Seems like a lot of that stuff happened much later in the books, but I'm not complaining.

Also, that was a great performance by Alfre Woodard as Lafayette's mother.

Actually, the line was "I ain't never killed anything by accident" which is loads funnier when you think about it. Gotta love the Bellefleurs.

Eric is my favorite character too, I find him hilarious. Well... Godric would have been my favorite, but that was cut short. Way too short in my opinion. I found that whole part to be quite interesting and would have loved for it to continue on - not to mention he's gorgeous.

Terry hasn't grown on me yet. He's kind of off an on, actually - one episode I'll think he's great, then the next he bores me. I almost find his personality changes too often. Or maybe it's just because of the time he was controlled by Mary Ann.
