I too am hoping that this really doesn't become too kind of cheesy...Season 1 really was awesome...But I'm a bit worried,I'll admit,that they're not going to be able to replicate that...We'll have to see though...I'll save judgement till after the first few episodes...

I think this season will be excellent. I would go so far as to say that it will be as good as the first season. On a slightly diffrent note: I'm glad that Hiro finaly has a worthty opponent. And...

Ive never personally took this show seriously from the beginning, it has its moments, most with the psychopathic Sylar, one of the reasons i still watch this show, simply to see him act as the evil to there polished world. And he has telekenisis, the coolest power of them all.

But there is moments of greatness in it, its just a shame its been knocked off its perch a little.

Although, im sure real fans will disagree and say that it has been brilliant from the start, i think that about Lost and dislike whenever anyone knocks it lol.

Still, who can argue with it when it involves Hayden panettiere as Cheerleader Claire?

One of many things I'm worried about for this season is the whole "Claire's Magic Blood" device. I mean, it just doesn't work for me when nearly every character who "dies" can just as easily be brought back to life with a little transfusion. The writers better find a way to axe that bullshit for this season and not turn this series into an actual comic book on TV. The first season was so good because it was something new and different, and when it turns formulaic that's when I stop watching.

But it would be a shame to get rid of Claire... such eye candy.

True, but she plays the most annoying character on the show, this side of Ali Larter anyway.

I agree with Lord_Makuta, but like he said, Shes such Eye Candy ! But aside from that, shes one (If not the) strongest character in the show, in terms of acting and structure. Its as if the writer has placed the viewers behind claire and made her the eyes and sort of focus o the viewers...
I know i'd like to be behind claire...

But seriously now, innuendo aside, if they loose claire they loose the focus, and they loose me.
In the look of the show, the true main characters and main protagonists that i can see will last for seasons to come are Peter, Claire, Hiro and maybe Matt or Ali's character (I forget her name)
