Dream Diary) is a 2005 independently produced surreal adventure PC game by homebrew Japanese developer Kikiyama. The game was created using RPG Maker 2003, but has few role-playing game (RPG) elements. The most current version of the game is 0.10, the latest release since October 2007. So, you play as a hikikomori named Madotsuki (meaning "windowed"). She refuses to leave her room, and the only things she can do whilst awake are play an extremely depressing mini-game called NASU and goof around on her balcony. All the real gameplay takes place in her dreams - once she goes to sleep, she can leave her room, and ends up in a hub world of sorts, the Nexus. From there she can explore 12 dream worlds. The goal is to collect 24 effects, which unlocks the ending. Controls: Arrow keys - movement Z - action; confirm X - menu; cancel 1 - use effect ability 3 - cancel effect ability 5 - drop effect 9 - wake up Kikiyama said he's slowly updating it, but I doubt it'll ever go past ver. 0.10. Plot? There is no plot. No dialogue or characterization. Everything is left to fan speculation. Download the current version in English here!

	I've only seen Yukari play Yume Nikki but it looks pretty cool. I like the poop hair effect. -------------------
