[Twilight Frontier] GRIEFSYNDROME

Basically you take the role of one of the 5 Puella Magi in Madoka and beat the crap out of Witches and their servants. One thing though, is that this is somewhat meant to be a party game as you can team up with two other friends and progress as a party of three if you have enough controllers.

Controls:
Arrow keys: Move
Z: Basic Attack
X: Special Attack (Changes when jumping and with arrow keys)
C: Jump
A: Ultimate

Using Ultimates will turn a portion of your health gauge blue that will slowly turn back green. This will leave you vulnerable as you take regular damage + remaining blue health gauge damage from the next enemy attack until you recover.

Your Soul Gem's remaining energy is the timer in the game, but it will deplete rapidly when it automatically heals off damage taken or revives you.

So yeah, that should cover the controls.

I've been playing for a while and my thoughts about the characters are summed up as this:
Homura: Good ranged attacks, but a little hard to aim her projectiles. Her Soul Gem's limit is kind of low too.
Kyoko: Good all around, weakest ultimate. Has a good Soul Gem limit, though.
Madoka: Simplest attacks that hit like a truck when charged. Massive Soul Gem limit.
Mami: Good against enemies on level ground, but has trouble against airborne ones and on slopes.
Sayaka: Good for rushing, but her terrible range needs enemies to be clumped together

Not yet, but since there's netplay for the Touhou fighting games, I'd expect they may implement it in a future patch or something.

It's 2D, but the art is not nearly as simplistic as Matagi Magica.

Kyouko and Sayaka are dull as shit, Madoka is too OP, and I don't even care about Mami.

Oh hai there 1.10 patch with Playable Moemura

Pistol is now Golf Club.
Special is now chargeable Pistol somewhat like Madoka.
Special side is now Shotgun.
Special up is now a Pipebomb that has a bit of lag, but can be shot to trigger earlier and does massive damage.

You talkin' bout Homura?

I used that update and she still has the same exact weapons and stuff.

Tried out Moemura. She's...ok. Her shotgun is decent, as is her charging pistol. Her pipe bomb is slow a shit, but I'll try out shooting it to see if that makes much of a difference.
