Been playing this for a while and my god, everything about this game is amusing and/or adorable as *bleep*.

The premise is that you play Luka, a generic JRPG lead chosen by god in order to defeat the Demon Lord. On the day of your coming of age ceremony, you end up helping a tsundere Lamia who falls from the sky. And then your god abandons you during the ceremony. Despite that, you decide to go off on an adventure anyway to defeat the Demon Lord and Alice, the Lamia from earlier, tags along because she wants to go on a food tour with you and to make snarky comments.

Battles play a bit like the Lightning Warrior Raidy series where fights are typically turn based one-on-one fights with female enemies. Only except that everything is a boss battle, so you're encouraged to lose if you know what I mean.

The writing. The writing for this is hilarious. Luka and Alice have this great character dynamic going on which just makes them fun characters to watch them interact with others. The supporting cast is great too. I personally look forward to whenever Unfortunate Lamia shows up again.

There's a TL patch for this that goes up to about 3/4 into the game. A couple typos here and there, but it's not as if regular eroge localisation teams do better.

One thing that bugs me is the art style. You can clearly see there are two different artists contributing with two very different art styles.

Right after that Earthworm are 4 lolis, who might be more to your taste, though yeah. Many of the enemies fall into the category of anthropomorphic (somethings) rather than actual monster girls.

EDIT: Oh, and search your game's bgm folder for Field2.

Although I stopped caring about it a while ago.
I think the last thing I fought was a leech? Or maybe some Dark Elf kind of thing.

A great game, though I'm still in the process of completing it. Any knowledge on the sequel and its translation?
