The next Ghost Recon: Future Soldier DLC, Raven Strike, is on its way, and Ubisoft is promising "a throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay." More specifically, they're referring to larger maps, more complex missions, and higher difficulty.
Raven Strike will add three new campaign missions and a Guerilla Mode map, all with four-player support. Not surprisingly, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will receive the DLC first, on September 11, and the PC version will come "at a later date." Also expect more Future Soldier DLC later in the season, in addition to the just-announced Raven Strike stuff.
For now, here's what you'll get with the upcoming pack:
3 new missions in Campaign Mode
- Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)
- Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside
- Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow
1 new map in Guerrilla Mode
- Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside
The expected launch price is $15 or 1200 MSP. If you really want to pre-order, GameStop and Best Buy are both taking reservations. You know, just in case you're worried about the DLC selling out.
