I'm not Ded Valve but IGN has the release dates down as the following;

Release Date:
UK: Dec 31, 2012
Japan: Dec 31, 2011
US: Dec 31, 2012

Surely thats a typo for Japans release date? They can't be getting it a year before everyone else.

I really hope it's a typo xD having to wait a year after Japan doesn't seem fair. Just cos I am too lazy to read through all our posts and also too lazy to just read at the moment cos I am suppose to be tidying is there any mention of improving the online play, like have different modes? I would love like a co-op mode, where there are fights that may involve more than one shinobi against one, like Gaara, Kankura, Temari, Darui against Sasuke (briefly I know) xD or Raikage, C and Darui (:

Exactly, we got it before the US didn't we? Which basically never happens xD Uncharted being the perfect example, they get it on the 1st November the UK gets it on 4th November ): but yeahh definetly a bit suspicious. I am really hoping it will be early 2012 because I will have Uncharted 3 and Assassin's Creed: Revelations in November so will play the hell outta them, so would be nice to have another game to look forward to (:

That's a pretty cool idea, it'd be nice to team up with other players for a change. Playing as random shinobi trying to bring down the Kyuubi or 8 Tails would be pretty epic.

See there are many possibilities, I am especially liking the thought of going against the 8 tails, because there is Sasuke, Suigetsu, Jugo and Karin so thats definetly a situation where it could work. I just think the online could be really improved, I mean it wasn't bad just too repetitive in UNS2. So even just adding one other mode would be a major improvement because you can have a change every now and then (:

You say that yet the UK was the first to get NUNS2 when it was first released.

Yeah, I'm in no rush for Generations if I'm honest. There's so many good games coming out lately that it'll just cause a huge backlog and I'm already trying to work my way through my to-play list.

It's not the repetitiveness that I struggled with, more so the fact that the losing player can disconnect to avoid the loss, or certain characters can spam the shit out of the match to win. Hell, even the way Awakenings can dominate the match was a little annoying - I'm not sure if you saw but in the Amakuni thread I mentioned how I was battling online the other day and was winning by a huge margin against someone playing as Guy. Once he awakened though, I didn't stand a chance. I went from almost full health to losing without so much as even being able to land a hit in the mean time.

So in short, if they don't add some form of co-op or online play, I sure as hell expect some fine tuning to be done to the standard VS matches.

LOL yeah, they were the good days - almost wetting our pants every time a new ultimate jutsu or character was revealed. Big up the signature! Jiraiya in sage form is the man, could never get to grips with his standard form in game though. I would bring out the old NUNS2 banners but I'm too hyped for Batman : Arkham City to change

I wasn't actually that surprised that japan could potentially get it way ahead of time (look at Black and White with its like 6 months headstart), although I'm given to understand Naruto isn't as popular in japan as it is in the UK or in the US, it would kinda be counter productive to their usual ways of listening and pleasing the fans that they have shown so far.

And yeah, bringing back the community would be cool, fact we could just make an Ultimate Ninja Storm forums and put 1, 2 and Generations all together, I can't imagine it would cause a troubling outburst of activity and it would allow some life on all of these forums.

I'm pretty sure the order in japan is something like One Piece, Pokemon and Bleach or something, Naruto gains more popularity outside of japan overall, at least thats what I thought.

It's relevant because I'm rewatching the series because of this game.
