	Log in to remove this sponsored message I don't know if there's been a thread about logs before, but I wanna know what they're for. You know, those things in free battles and such? {love log, leaf log, etc.} I don't feel like looking it up or going on gamefaqs since I already did, so yeah. 	Those logs are types of substitutions you can use. When you press L2 (or I guess LT or LB one for the 360) at the instant of an attack, you'll use a substitution jutsu, evading their attack and in place a log pops up. You can unlock different types of substitutions. They really don't do anything different, but just neat little things to switch out so it isn't the same thing over and over again. -------------------

	A lot of them are just the same log with a different inscription though, or was it that some are restricted to specific characters, I forgot, in any case its purely cosmetic (and not always noticeable) -------------------

	Logs are the type of item that you will change place with once you do a Substetution. To be more specific Logs are a tree log with different letters or words on them. For example the "Love Log" When you use substitution you will change place with a log that the word Love is written on a poster on a log.
