You know,if you let Sega have all the time to make a Sonic game,I'd bet it would top any game you've every tried.

I wouldn't agree on that. I've known games that were worked on for 14 years, yet were crap. Having a lot of time to make a game is good and all, but Time does not equal = Greatness.

It does for Sonic games.There are some hackers that find hidden features in Sonic games,but were cut out in development.Hidden Palace Zone in Sonic 2,for example.Honey the Cat in Sonic The Fighters and the hidden Sonic and Knuckles stages in Sonic 3(SEGA really messed up there),show how many ideas are put into Sonic games.

Hey,don't blame Sonic 06!These guys have been making incredible games for Sonic to beat their only rival,Nintendo!Plus,the staff was really messed up after making good games after such a long streak.Besides,they lost their ability to make consoles,or lost motivation.THAT'S what caused the downgrade in Sonic games since then.SEGA had to make their games in a new element.At first,they lost the skill(Sonic Heroes,Shadow The Hedgehog,Sonic 06,etc.),but then they started to get used to it(Sonic Colors,Sonic Generations,Sonic 4 Episode 2) and Sonic is starting to come back on top.The fall of the SEGA consoles started the fall of Sonic The Hedgehog,but like some series,he will come back and beat the competition.
