Clicking Spell Effect Crashes Game...

I was playing Morrowind and decided to soul trap some golden saints. I went to the spellmaker in Balmora Mage's guild to make a spell. I clicked spellmaking, and then clicked on the effect and my game just exited out. I tried it with the person you buy the golden saints from, and got the same consequence. Anyone know what's happening?

If it matters, I'm using a plugin that creates the bank, stock market, and vivec expansion.

Edit- I tried again without any plugins, and it still crashed.

I Bought Golden Saint from the guy in Tel Branora. I wanted to make a longer saint spell, so I would have enough time. When I went to make the spell, I clicked on the spell effect, and my game just exited. It crashes when making a spell when I try it with any spellmaker.

Well, I'm not certain what your problem is, or how to fix it, but you might think about enchanting a weapon with "Soul Trap" (Cast on Strike) instead. Then buy your "Summon GS" spell or scroll, and trap your GS's that way.

Where is the INI?

The point is whenever I click a spell effect when i do spellmaking is that the game crashes. I got the game for PC tuesday too, so there shouldn't be any scratches on it.

I have a level 38 Nord Barbarian with a 250+ strength, and I can kill a Golden Saint with one hit with my Drain Health/Soul Trap enchanted Daedric dai-katana.

It is possible to make characters much more powerful than this, by various methods. My guy got where he is pretty much naturally excepting Corprus manipulation. How long do you need to kill a GS?

It just randomly crashes now and then, so I'm guessing that happend due to Morrowind's tendencies.

If it crashes whenever there's a sandstorm, then you probably have another problem.

Anyway, your first problem might be because you don't have enough space or RAM or something like that.

Odd... But hey, why do you need a long Golden Saint summon?
In combat, they suck. And you can kill them in two hits at 100 strength...

I have the SAME problem, and I think it's due to all my plugins. It sucks.
