	Log in to remove this sponsored message ok, so in colony 9 under "Anti-Air Battery Three", there is this dragon looking thing. If you go up to it in the beginning, it gives you a little tutorial about "Rare" monsters. Now, I have only played the game through once and I don't think I have ever come across another "rare" monster. unless those are the ones with names... which is basically my question. Q- What are the rare monsters and where are more located? thnx in advance. -------------------

	Unique monsters are ones with the special names; they're just stronger mobs and they inhabit various locations, like the dragon at that part of Colony 9. There are a bunch of then and you can find them if you explore. ------------------- Play-Asia!

	Oh, well I've encountered tons of those then... though that dragon Really was unique, never saw another like it. Spoiler:don't open if you havent been to prison island the second time Though that dragon in Prison idland was pretty damn cool. -------------------

	Hell Fire they arent truly part of quests, there are a bunch of them a drop often very rare armor, also there is one monster on your way to colony 6 that you must avoid until your 3rd run trough the game Kholdstare the guy is max level i think, it runs multiple status effects if memory serves me righ he also has stats to back up him behemot size, my party was level 80 or so (farmed like crazy then so i could get an ACTUAL shot againts some of the rare monsters) i got curb stompred and badly. Finally check this guide if you want to hunt all the rare monsters, they only show up at certain times of the day. ------------------- Support the Last Story wiki! Contribute to the Xenoblade wiki!

	I got my butt wooped on by the level Ten one in the first dungeon even though I was like 9 or 10. SO I just ran away haha. I did try countless times and will probably go back to finish it off later. lol I had trouble with both of those A-holes xD the one near anti air battery 1 I killed after grinding, Ryen and I whooped that caterpie back into the ground, then the one in tephra cave, I didn't kill till I was like level 20 xD -------------------

	I got owned many times during the first ten or so hours of the game from being over confident and taking on anyone. 	What I love is that this game will hand your ass back to you on a silver platter if you aren't prepared and don't know how to play. Also I just got the new character and I am wooping major ASS.
