En Masse Entertainment today announced that since launching their free-to-play conversion for TERA, TERA: Rising, gamers are flocking to try out the unique action-MMORPG. Player accounts have risen to over 1.4 million users and concurrent players has risen ten-fold compared to before the transition. To celebrate the activity, En Masse is launching a five-day event chock full of big-ass monsters and all sorts of prizes.
Chris Lee, CEO of En Mass Entertainment, offered the following excited works to commemorate the occasion:
"We’ve been blown away by the waves of players logging into TERA, and we’re seeing amazing growth in both registrations and daily users. It’s always great to eclipse the one-million-player mark, and at our current rate, it won’t be long before we hit two million. This success is pushing En Masse even harder to deliver more content and improve our service, so stay tuned!"
I told you guys! I told you TERA was a great game back when it originally launched in 2012 and apparently no one listened to me. Well it's too late now. Hopefully everyone's made an account and tried the game out. It's great to see the title picking up a solid, dedicated audience that will hopefully keep the game alive for years to come.
Check out the TERA: Rising download page to install the game and try out the game for yourself -- it's free! As far as combat goes there's really nothing like it currently available in the MMO market. Also, constant updates, like the upcoming release of an all new 20-man end-game raid.
