No...no...i find it a bit too challenging for my level of laziness...so i find it a bit too boring...especially since i got nobody to do multilayer with...://
I think the point of the past is the Multiplayer function; it's rediculously hard for one person on their own, yet easy with two or more people. The fact that you can play on your own is a joke upon itself, probably designed so that you can level up/get some extra AP without having to get a friend to help you with that. It doesn't help that the bosses are stacked, either. Seriously, where was that difficulty when we captured Mewtwo in three freakin' minutes? I think that this tiny feature (The ability to play Multiplayer missions Single-player style) messed up the game. I was okay with the fact that the game was too easy (the story really made up for that. Okay, aside from the whole Nema/Rand family thing...), but actually having Multiplayer functions...that are required to get a Deoxys...DEOXYS!...but are able to be played as Single Player...but is insanly hard without help...and then you actually need a second person so you can get the mother-effing Deoxys?!? The whole point of the Multiplayer missions actually being worthwhile was to get the Deoxys, but for the people that don't have a friend around, they let it be able to be played solo...AND THEN YOU NEED A FREAKING FRIEND ON THE MISSION THAT YOU ACTUALLY GET DEOXYS?!? All in all, the past was the one thing that ruined this game for me. (Then again, there is that Nema/Rand thing...)

Oookay... think i touched a nerve, there. Anyway, my point in asking is that i've gotten to the 3rd dungeon in the Thunder Temple solo, but i suspect that it is impossible to get past this level on my own. It's not that there are any 2-person switches or anything (which would of course make me certain i couldn't get past it on my own) but rather there is a complecated labarynthine switch system, whereby there are two paralel paths, and switches on one path open doors on the other path, so if you play alone, you must keep going back and forth, having further and further to go each time. Unless anyone can prove me wrong (and i'd be gald if you could) i believe it is impossible to get past this bit on your own, as there is just nowhere near enough time.

Yeah I have done all the missions cept deoxys and the odd temple cuz afte gettin to the thunder temple 3rd mission i decided to use cheats cuz i was bored and the cheats are fun!!!
Sorry about freaking out there. The Multiplayer missions are a touchy subject for me, and I'm very passionate about it...no matter how wrong that just sounded.
I'm going to guess that bond007106 is only looking for people that have beaten them without cheating. Anyone can win by cheating. Simple fact of life.
Anyway, I've only beaten the first level of the Ice Temple, but I haven't played the game in a while. I don't find much difficulty in the actual stages, it's just the captures. Like the aforementioned "Bossly Hard Bosses". So I suppose I could probably beat that level in the Thunder Temple. If I ever get past the Ice Temple.

I've been able to get to the boss of that particular mission, and here's how (this is a little lengthy, and it wasn't easy), but I just haven't been able to seal the deal and beat the boss.
In the first section, two of the plain treasure chests have timers in them, each one adding 30 seconds to the time limit. Second, you need to memorize the route that you're taking to save time in a manner similar to the Ice Temple mission "Time, Time, Time" (that mission was tough in its own right).
The draw of the Pokemon can determine a lot as well. If you have to deal with Claydol where the path divides, you can evade the Claydol on the right side only--the ones on the left side are just about impossible to avoid. If Bronzong patrol this section, you'll be able to evade them as you go if you keep enough distance (except for the third on the left side, that battle is pretty much mandatory regarless the Pokemon draw).
If you make it to the green warp zones at the end of the long path, avoid the Voltorb/Manectric (whichever one is there) and open both chests to receive a pair of 60 second Time Extenders. This sequence adds a total of four minutes to the mission, and you don't have to exit the way you entered--the other warp panel will take you to where the Skarmory/Staraptor are blowing whirlwinds in the path that leads to the red warp zone.
The hint for the boss that I kept getting: "Try using a long-range PokeAssist for a better chance" because I keep running out of time. So now I'm thinking "okay, whose PokeAssist gives me the best chance?" The boss moves pretty fast, so hazards work pretty well, as this boss will move rapidly into them. Only Pokemon I can think of that would work from those PokeAssists are either Sandslash or Golbat at higher levels in each of their three categories (of those two, Golbat is at Level 4 in all three categories).
Another assist that might work is Flareon, but if I use Flareon and the divided path is patrolled by Claydol, I won't make it. On the other hand, I use Flareon and Bronzong patrol that path instead, I can make it to the boss. Flareon's levels are: Assist Level 3, Assist Timer MAX, and Assist Power 3.
My problem with Hippopotas' PokeAssist is that it always travels at the same 45 degree angle, even at assist Level 3. It'll take a while before I can upgrade to assist Level 4.
Spoiler: The Boss of this level
Magnezone, an Electric Type
Any other good PokeAssists that might work? Long story short, I know I can (eventually) beat the boss on a solo run, I just need to make that one adjustment to push myself past the level (that or keep grinding it out and level up some more; currently @ level 39).
UPDATE: Completed this mission late Monday Night, successfully capturing the boss Pokemon with only :02 left on the clock, using Donphan for the win. No rest for the weary, as it doesn't get any easier for the fourth and final stage in the Thunder Temple.
