	Log in to remove this sponsored message I dont kno bout u guys but havin to constantly swap between the flashlight and my gun is actually really starting to bug me out, run into a room, it is dark, switch on flashlight, oh looky there a bad guy, now ill jus turn my off fashlight and shoot wildly into the darkness... make sense?!?!

	i was just piintin out that i beleived that having to switch from my gun to my flashlight, leaving me with no protection against the enemy, then having to switch back from my flashlight to my gun, leaving me with no light to find the enemy,is rather annoying.

	yeah, that is annoying as hell. that is why I just shoot randomly into dark spaces while standing in the light. ------------------- Aug.03 Noob Killaz.

	its just to give you a more "well i should take care in where im going with this" senario you just gotta keep your wits about you and stay cool and dont panic when a demon roars at you just give it a "bleep you you piece of S**t thats all it is supose to be dark as well

	one alternative would be to turn up your brightness in the menus that would help also it is supose to be dark thats why theres a flashlight but it used to get annoying when a demon is hitting you repeatedly and all you see is scratch marks on the screen thats annoying ------------------- Better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven..

	It was made that way to make it extra scary. The player chooses either light to dispel the darkness and reveal the hidden or a weapon to punish the demons lurking in the black.

	To be honest, the whole torch / gun changing thing is highly effective in the "scary" stakes. The choice to see the monsters and run the risk of being attacked unarmed counterpoints the blast away wildly at any shadow. 	Not being able to see makes the game scarier! Anyways, some enemies will give away they're position somehow, like with muzzle flashes or fireballs. You could also just wait at the doorway for them to come to you. For example, if a machine gun-wielding zombie shoots at you, shoot at the muzzle flash. I don't remember shooting at anything I wasn't sure was an enemy.
