RUNAWAY INTRO FIX - Page 3

The patch is not working! And i cant skip the god damn intro!Plus, when i start the game with you patch the game is on english!How to play the game?!

Hi, i have a problem running this game! and i dont think the problem is the intro one cause ive done all u said (replacing the file, replacing crack and copiing savedata) but the game still crashes. The crash is right after i run the game, all i can see before the crash is a black screen and a little CD in the bottom left corner for like 1 second.
I use Vista.

Anyone of u can help me?

ok this isnt a fix for video loop this is a fix for the crash that happens halfway through the intro (while the song is still playing and the credits are rolling the game crashes and this is what my patch was for) it is said that the loop problem is caused by 1 of 3 things
1. the DirectX version your using isnt compatible with the game (i cant verify this since it seems to work for me but some people the game will only run if you have a old DirectX version)
2. The Codecs you have installed are causing conflict and makeing the videos loop (to fix this just uninstall all codecs you have installed then install the newest K-lite codecs with a full install)
3. The game wasnt made to be played on vista and for some people they just cant get it to work. (i dont use vista so again i cant verify this since i only use XP but you could try changing compatability or you could try installing the latest updates for vista. also you may get different results if you run in 64bit or X68)

anyway i hope this helps. if it doesnt i can try and look into this matter further but i cant guarantee anything.

First time I had a problem with RUNAWAY is before couple of years on that time it'll crashes on stage 5 I think when try to reach unexplored area it got crashed that time I had windows 98. Now Im facing to the same intro problem with widows xp and tried number of things to get it work but still not so please help me to solve this adventure first. I try to remove directx 9c as ddkram said but no proper software to do that also I installed k-lite mega codec pack after that screen will loop as Yanxn had after remove it again it crashed halfway through the intro (how can i find other video codecs to remove from the system). what can i do now please help me to play this nice game;(

Oh...man ddkram[/i] you are a genius my friend your patch is more than excellent it was worked for me perfectly only thing happened is Newyork and the rest of the credits changed to German but until end of the game it was English you know that when the game passed the crashing point how I'm delighted if my legs are not wounded definitely I will dance. I can't explain it guys I can't believe this ddarkam, I had try number of patches and other things to make this work until I found your remarkable patch meantime I'm really regret the delayed comment on this because my motor bike met an accident on last Friday evening so I haven't time to log on to net but I played it on ma bed thank you very much genius ddakram[i] if I have any prob with PC games hereafter I'm not asking from anyone and I directly contact our guys who are in NEOSEEKER family specially you Mr.ddakram thank you also NeoSeeker team you'll doing the great work for game lovers keep it up guys ! cheers.

I have tried all the things mentioned on this post and still can't get the game to work
I've replaced the resource file with the german one, I've tried using save game files. I've tried installing various codec packs.
All I get is a cd icon in left bottom corner of screen and a couple of seconds of intro music, then it just goes black & crashes.
Any ideas?
